due to your time diffrence, I was thinking you would be the trader/blackmarket guy who would manipulate battles. It would make setting up battles easier. I think if you were the market guy, I could give you a planet or something to store stuff and test stuff.

9 hours apart would be a very big problem...... It's only a 7 hour difference with him and a 9 hour difference with you. Any combat would be very limited. Not to mention combat between you to would be impossible. You guys could work together as traders, but again combat would be a pain and avoided. Not to mention you guys are 8 hours apart from each other.

Lol there are more and more of these series popping up. It's a shame that most can't match up to Macey Dean's series. Maybe this one will be good quality who knows?

It's sad that no one can truly replicate his work, so I am trying a different approach. I don't know if it will be good until we try it, so let's cross our fingers and see what happens. I have notices when I saw a couple of these series, they didn't last that long, or were very very slow. Hopefully we can get this fast paced and fun. I mean we will have multiplayer, so there will be better combat, and maybe some airplane battles :) (probably not, due to targeting issues).

The buggy looks nice and durable, but is their any antenna for transmission? Also I would like to keep as many biggies as possible ai run. It's free and fine for them to be ai.

The roach seems to be a very minimalistic rover that I would armor up a bid, due to the fact that it wouldn't increase the cost.

I think the smart missile should be a smart warhead. Think of macy small smart missile as a smart missile. These would be the smark version of his (I think destroyer or battle ship) any flagship rockets, the ones with boosters strapped to them. However very nice. I really like it.

The swarm is almost a living missile. That would shred carriers and most things it attacks. I can't really tell if it is 100% missile or not. I would imagine the swarm to basically be a clump of smart missiles.

By the way, this brings up a point about smart missiles. We need to create some increased cost for them and increased cost for warheads. Maybe a small starting cost and a greater refuel cost or something.

I like this idea a lot and want to be a part of it. I'm not sure I get all the rules as I haven't played any space fighting sim. Not really into fighting anyway in Kerbal. Will there be resource mods like EPL or Kethane? I don't see what people would be fighting for, other than prime easter egg real estate lol.

mmmmm yeah but refueling seems unnecessary since it's a one time use and the smart missle will be renamed then but giving armor to the Roach is going to be hard since it uses it's speed to make a turn quickly any weight would make it slower and will make it more possible to flip and it was meant to be an simple small unarmed explorer or stealth unit, i tried to get it as low to the ground as the game could allow but that made it literally skate on the surface. I doubted about an antenna for the buggy but i will try to figure out something for it and the AI is needed for KSP now since otherwise you can't control any car/plane/rocket with the seats. The swarm is a living cluster yes, 4 big missles, 4 small rockets, 1 war head and the frame itself all of which are AI controled and yeah it can rip ships apart cause i tried to make it so strong that it would be able to secure the area and act as an guard dog and raid at the same time so i didn't need to build a separate thing for one of the two.

if i use it as guard dog it's still in it's fairing orbiting an planet or floating around giving it protection but when it's out of it's fairing it's way more fragile and an easy target to kill so most of the time it's fire everything and kill yourself or be blown to smithereens, the swarm is my biggest pride, now that it's in 9th version i wonder how strong i can make it mmmmmm maybe some of the new parts na that would take away the slender and simple design, but you guys would really want the swarm in you arsenal, i made it literally for macey but since he is not uploading any more i would like to use it and not let it catch dust since so much testing has gone into it for design, power, usefulness, capability, storage and lethality

i made a small station for it but that was chunky, unhandy and unwieldy and most of all, nearly impossible to get to orbit so i'm designing one as i write this making it able to defend itself without using any of the swarm and that it's able to be reloaded when it has fired something to defend itself, and able to get in orbit easily

oh look at me rambling already XD well i will post again when i update, have to chat or have new things

and maybe increase the cost as the war heads/missles get deadlier, bigger and if it happens (not seeing it happen) are reusable. the last thing need to have a major impact on the cost since you can use one of them and keep using it until it finally breaks since you can now refuel with the claw

question:

do you get MORE science points as you EXPAND an research sight like, you already have an science lab but expand it with another lab or add something to it so it's more techie, and it looks like we have a limited amount of science at the start since the big one gives 5 but costs 15!? am i missing something? or is the 15 science only used when you build it? so temporaraly??

Unless the roach is a scout, it doesn't need speed. unless you want to troll anyone who tries to destroy your rover. It's based on the amount of planets you control and the buildings on them. You could put 50 buildings on 1 planet, but if that planet gets take then I won't cry for you. I will laugh. muhahahahahahahahaha! No seriously don't put all of your buildings on one planet. I will probably put in some system where the more you have on a planet, the less effective they become or put some sort of cap for everything to stop that from happening.

The buildings are permanent and can't be destroyed ever! Also we will all get starting buildings, and ships so don't worry about that.

By the way, you should all keep in mind that it is perfectly ok for someone to take all of your planets. We will set a minimum science level, but that can happen, so don't put all of your eggs in one basket and let one of his swarms come along and ruin your day. Also I think sense the swarm is a living missile, I will classify it as a extra large missile. I will add it to the construction list. That thing can take out like 5 stations.

Also keep in mind that you build stations in segments and it's perfectly ok to send up a missile in a single ship. To replenish missiles by the way, you have to buy another one. Also the swarm will be aloud to do a resupply on it's basic outer 4 missiles for regular cost.

No recourse mods. The only big mod we might add is a multiplayer mod. The only other mods allowed are the ones that just make your life easter.

Also thank you for bringing up the why part. There is a limited number of buildings per planet that give you science, which you can use to get the money to make big things that go boom! Or ships or more science buildings. Whatever you like. It's a war for science basically, because they can make a lot of money.

okay but there is a tiny problem with restocking the swarm rockets that is explained in two word: you can't. yup once a swarm is used it's leterally used, no restocking you have to bring a new one over and i found an indestructibal part in KSP go look at the structural pylon it has, not kidding, an impact tolerance of 999 m/s! i need to build a super rocket for that to get even a dent in it and even then it's laughing in my face!

That just means you can sell the swarm that much more! By the way, I will allow people to give you cp to get ships.

Also we can destroy it! Hurry! Get the super tolerant stack pole and drop it from interplanetary velocity of it!
