[1.1.2] Kerbin-Side (v1.1.0) & Supplements

Hello, I have an issue and I hope that I´m not that retarded to overlook something. I can´t display (on map, no icons, can´t buy, manage or launch from them) any other bases around Kerbin other than tracking stations. I played with mod settings, tried different saves (Career), but can´t figure it out. I have KerbinSide Complete with GAP contract pack, installed via CKAN. Do I need to max out VAB and SPH or Administration or something else to being able to purchase another bases to launch off? Also, is there a hotkey or any other way to disable ATC and NGS while flying with rocket (Other than in mod settings)? It´s awesome for planes, but distracting while launching rockets. Thanks in advance, your mod is awesome by the way! Thank you for all your work.

EDIT: Yeah and playing on 1.1.3, if that´s the issue, please ignore my post.

hi alphaash, i have a project you might be interested in, im using blender to proceedually generate buildings to be placed into ksp and i was wondering if i might be able to incude some of your buildings in it, so far i am bilding the assets from scratch but it might be nice to diversify the buildings somewhat, give me a shout if you're interested or anything

Ya I tried it out and was disappointed. ): This needs to work with RSS. It would make the RSS aircraft experience that much better. Imagine taking off from LAX and flying for 5 hours to land at HIA and refueling then flying back. That would be so cool.

Long of it is that placing the statics is tedious and irritating.  You want it, it'll be up to you to make it.

There's a newly released version of Kerbal Konstructs made for 1.1.3. Is there any chance that this version of Kerbin Side will work properly as is with that, or should I wait warmly until @AlphaAsh releases a KS for 1.1.3?

Most of KerbinSide is just scenery and configuration files that Kerbal Konstructs uses. The locations and the buildings placed there are configured specifically for stock scale Kerbin, not Earth in real, half or otherwise scale. There's no viable way for Kerbal Konstructs to reinterpret Kerbin coordinates for Earth. What would be needed is for each site in KerbinSide to be recreated specifically for the desired scale of Earth, in the same painstaking way that the locations were done for Kerbin, using the editing tools Kerbal Konstructs provides.

That said, I am a RSS newb so I might be wrong - I can stand to be corrected if so! :) I am however becoming more familiar with the KK code as I'm working on a couple small things for the next update. I'm a big fan of how KSP can be so customized to everyone's preferred style of play, so I want to give my best effort to making KK work well with RSS so that others can build cool places to go.

Yep. It's a little confusing right now - I'm not quite ready to start a new thread for Kerbal Konstructs. I'd very much like input from the RSS players on Kerbal Konstructs - what issues there are with it and RSS, new ideas, examples of common RSS setups with KK, etc.

I like to make SketchUp sweat.

You can design all the parts with curved or sloped edges and just let them clip into each other.   I recommend using sloped edges instead of curves, though.

hello, i am a new user of this mod. its nice to fly to other locations and buy in career new ground stations. In the tracking station i can click at the radar buttion. at the airport on the island near ksc flashes a circle (radar signal or range)

I cant find any manual how to use it. What advantage or disadvantage i have with or without the radarstation???

How can I change the flags and nations for locations? I'd like my KSC to have an "American" flag, and KSC2 to be "Russian," along with varied other things.

I assume they're underneath that floating platform thing that's probably not supposed to be there.

If this isn't working to you it's maybe because Guids are the same to fix it just use random.org to generate them
