activable Grid for the hangar

What do you think about a grid in 3D?

Some parts need to be installed manually, one by one. It would allow us to have almost precision.

Personnaly I see this grid in pale green transparent (like the Fallout Pip-boy ).

Good idea, and it would be good in the VAB, too. Especially if things can be made to snap to the grid.

the Halo map editor added something similar, i could see its uses. the problem would be you cant snap things to the grid, you have to snap it to a root part.

Or maybe simply add a marker, drawing a line erasable just to place the parts.
