Yup, Im making a playlist on youtube so people like me could listen to it (because, usually, i have to listen to those engine sounds).

Im writing here because i need more songs. There is the same question in our facebook group, but still.. Wonder what forum people like :P

I think theres two rules: No drum n bass, metal and dubstep (sorry guys, but not everyone likes those new styles of music),

And your song must have normal name and youtube link and i will not import songs that are more than 15 minutes long.

Ill try my best to include more music.

EDIT: I have the playlist. As i write, we have only 28 songs in it.

Edit 2014/07/09: Hooray! We have 50 songs! This community is great! Keep posting it! Im trying to add more and more, ive added some songs by myself, too.

This:

If you played Orbiter at some point you will know this song

You could spice it up a bit and use this version:

Also any decent KSP playlist needs this song:

PS: what is metal by your definition, you got slipknot in there :P

Aaah yes! the old Orbitersound song, i was trying to find the song but has forgotten the title.

You will recognise one the songs i posted, because it is the new Orbitersound's default song.

Yeah, i loved Orbiter but it missed something: content: you can only launch what the community gives you.

That's why i was looking for a replacement and found KSP: it has everything i searched for: good physics and you can build your own vehicles.

Now there is a upcoming spacesim wich i hope it will have the same features as ksp: to build your own spaceships:http://www.space-simulator.com

It says that it's only for android and ipad, while i know that it will be available for pc later on with more features.

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm going to plug my own video. (Sorry, but I think it's reasonably cool and definitely appropriate for KSP.)

Play whilst in space.

Also, I'm really happy that "Music is Math" was added to this playlist. BoC was one of the inspirations for my song. :)

I have few suggestions, which I listen as I play

Radar Rider by The Riggs. Just watch the video.

Astronomy by Blue Öyster Cult

Space Trucking by Deep Purple

Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd

Silent Lucidity by Queensrÿche

Alpha by Vangelis

Theme from the TV-series Cosmos - Heaven and Hell 3rd movement

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gi0kjGnjE_0

Tähdenlennon tiellä by Eppu Normaali (translates roughly to "On the way of shooting star")

Linnunradan laidalla (On the Edge of Milky Way)

'

(Doesn't matter if you don't know the lyrics, as long as they sound good, am I right.)

Well... that list came longer than I expected. I might continue it some day

Couple more Manhattan Project by Rush
Space Oddity by David Bowie
Pretty much the whole FTL soundtrack
Pretty much every radio channel from Ratchet and Clank: A Crack In Time Here's Pirate Radio
Polaris Classical
Deep Space Jams
(Can't remember what the fourth was) Also I would like to thank you for giving me the idea to do this myself, with a bit of a personal flavour.
