They works correctly, but they are completely messed up in the editor. I found engines in Control&Command and other parts all around in the editor.Is it a know issue?Engines? Apart from jets and aerospike resizes (under "Engines"), the only part with engines in ChopShop is SkyCrane and it should be properly located under "Pods", since it's a kind of integrated probe system. Engines under "C&C" must be a result of some third-party MM configs. SETI modpack is OK, it supports my mod fine. Should be something else, I'm unaware of.- - - Updated - - -Note that in the description please. I will try to make some RemoteTech configs for probes to work properly, but I can't promise anything.What the problem is exactly? Rover bodies and SkyCranes should get integrated omnis from RT stock config, as it changes ALL the probes. micha030201 Posted May 19, 2015 Share Posted May 19, 2015 What the problem is exactly?The problem is that RT doesn't recognize drone nosecone and rover parts from your pack as probes, so they can be controlled without a connection to KSC or time delay. As I understand it, dataIsCollectible =true allows data to live in it, but dataIsStorable = false prevents it from being used by astronauts on EVA the way that they can store data in pods and labs. Also,implying that AntennaRange doesn't do proper relay networksFeast your eyes:(The yellow line is my current probe's connection to the probe on the opposite side of Kerbin, because it's landed on the wrong side of the Mun from the other satellites orbiting the Mun at the moment -- they're all busy doing other things and can't be put in their communication orbits yet.)If I wanted to play "Communication Satellite Network Manager Simulator 2015", I'd go to work. My reason for using AntennaRange is that it makes building relay networks worthwhile, without requiring the micromanagement that RemoteTech does. I put a lot of effort into that big bold red warning on the skycrane arms... "DEPLOY BEFORE USE!" refers to RCSBuildAid also. You must deploy the skycrane in VAB to see both engines and exhaust vectors point down and thrust vector point up. Same for MechJeb and KER - they won't calculate dV for undeployed skycrane. Dr. Jet Posted June 4, 2015 Author Share Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) One little suggestion what will be good to adjust on page description & future pack description:- Your mod not only support MM / TweakScale / RemoteTech / F.A.R. / Modular Fuel Tank & Real Fuels it DEMAND to be have it REQUIRE / YELL to have it coz is a difference between support (my be have) & needModuleManager is required, other mods are supported but NOT REQUIRED.":NEED[]" in MM files means that those won't fire (and change part configs) if you don't have corresponding mods, so your parts functionality will remain unchanged. You DON'T NEED those mods, but you'll get extended functionality if you do.You will have tuneable tanks with MT or RF, proper non-stock antennas with RT, changeable sizes with TweakScale and so on. You won't and can't have those improvements without corresponding plugins.The only real dependency is ModuleManager and it is strictly demanded if you install from CKAN. Speadge Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 heyho,i noticed it, and did that as well.but lateron i experienced my skycrane always floating to one site right after startup.just by activating SAS i could almost stop it.it turned out that it was caused by a tweakscaled tank i used with the crane. after chosing another, it goes straight up in the air.Problems with tweakscale and mass balancing is something i experience more and more. will need to post that in their thread.After i created my post here, i had similar problems with spaceplanes, that always turn right / left on the rollfield @100m/s. it make me wonder why its the same problem like the crane has. Kerbal Space Program isn't about "why", it's about "why not"! Honestly, I made that config mostly because I figured that the rugged rover should protect its contents as advertised. Not really worried about drag, but heating. It would be a shame if someone were to have a mission that relied on a rough entry and found that the boxes didn't actually protect their contents.No Eve testing, though I suspect that a rover dangling under one of your skycranes might be happy to have a place to put delicate science components and extendable solar panels. When I get the time, I'll send a duplicate set of rovers, and send one with the bays open and one with them shut, and let you know what happens. This is with the latest tweakscale. I swear this part used to work perfectly in the past so I don't know what could have changed. I love this part. It is the 1.25m variant trying to scale down. Am I the only one having this issue? I will try a minimal install to see if somehow another mod is intereaacting though I don't know why it would only be this part. At least what part of it was used in my config.Trying to replicate problem...Resized to 2.5m part saved in craft - VAB loaded fine, no size changes.Launched - fine, no size changes.Reverted from flight - fine, no size changes.Couldn't replicate the trouble. The only strangeness found - decoupled stages are MORE aerodynamic than some main stages... will give you a weird sight if you decouple midflight with main stage engine off.
