Totally busted, rusted. Waiter, there's a 500-DHTT in my soup! Spoiler How does it sounds like : The same siren model, but in another location. Below is in Calhan, CO, the above one, uhh, not too good at identifying where's those at... Equipments and stuff required : Earplugs and Earmuffs - You'll be recording those sirens quite near. Those are crazy loud. Camera - Obviously Tripod - It'll be a loooong test / waiting, and nightmare for shaky hands Knowing the test times - One of the best methods is to contact the authorities in-charge (If the siren is on or near a Fire Dept, don't hesitate to ask them when will they test; FD sirens sometimes sound them off upon request. Recording until the 'fan-looking' part inside the siren, if visible, to stop spinning completely until you shut off the recording - This is what siren enthusiasts do.
