It is strange to 1.0.4 it should work quite well.
Craft is not working? I checked it before the release, maybe it's because of the version 1.0.4?
You mean the full version of the manipulator, and if so do not use it.
About decoupler and Buran, Dragon made a point of attachment for the Buran \ BT \ Polus, a new update soon, but decoupler is indispensable to locate the side blocks, my fault that I did not explain how to properly put now to catch up.


On the center unit ENERGIA has a point, they are made for a reason.

Attach the upper part of the decoupler to this point.

Then, the mounting points on the decoupler put side blocks and engines for them.

The result, you have smooth symmetrical design.


As for the flight, run it smoothly and just do not make any sudden movements, the real Buran did not fly like a butterfly. :) Edited by DECQ

Have not tried out the mod yet, but my guess is that you'll have to attach Energia to Buran, and not the other way around. But looking at the picture there seems to be a node on Energia where one could attach Buran.

First, build the Buran then attach decoupler, also if you want to use the Buran-T is the first to put it, then lean the Decoupler how Bobcat had if you know what I mean, I promise that the next patch will be all the easier,thanks to Dragon.

Go into the craft file (it's a plaintext document) go to version=1.0.5 and change it to version=1.0.4. That worked for me. Another note, get the versions of the supplementary mods for the proper KSC version.

Tested in 1.0.4 and 1.0.5 flew very nice. Nose is very heavy, this also occurred with bobcats Buran (also with .cfgs by Dragon01, IIRC). One issue I had was the decoupler to attach the Buran to energia I couldn't remove. I converted the Buran orbiter into the OK-GLI configuration (the atmospheric test unit) (no payload in bay, no radiators,fuel cells or arms) flew very well, the crew cabin survived a nose down ditch into water at 50 m/s.

note the next: the Buran bounces up and down quite a bit near the end of energia burn (+- 30 degrees pitch, longitudinal the same amount), throttle to â…“ with 20 seconds left in burn. Edited by DarthVader

I do not know why it does not work in 1.0.4 and unfortunately I can not put you file craft. Much has already been in the rocket redone for the new patch, decoupler on Buran works like the stock, do not look at them hidden meaning, just lean the it to Buran, 8 page you will find how to attach the side blocks and if there are any questions, I'll try to help, but he is very easy going. Now I do blocks from the MIR station bobcat for version 1.0.5 and new Manipulator, it now occupies more time.

Collect Buran attach to his belly decoupler, to him the central block of Energia, as if you did Shuttle in stock.

Well, I look at the problem from the nose, and look at the engines, make it more smooth, put on a new gimbal stock SSME and changed position RD0120 rss.

Unfortunately recreate real work Energia for the KSP is either very difficult or impossible for the side since blocks must divide themselves with a small amount of fuel and have approximately 2-4%thrust (do not remember exactly) of the total traction at the same time have to work RD 0120 100% in the same KSP it would be very helpful ...

Is practically all options except for the shuttle "Rus-Taifun / Eng-Typhoon", because the version of "Ptashka" was an not orbital vehicle, it's just my imagination.
By the way, I redid the texture to "Pashka" just delete black eagle and added a new "OC120".

Yes,can say you have correctly transferred.)) As I recall was the name of the test aircraft, or foreign matter, I really forgot everything,will need to find information.

Place the texture to replace the files in GameData\ENERGIA\BURAN FULL\FUSELASE_AND RADIATOR.

It's not that, just extra textures were the wrong size, it causes a conflict with the DDS format, I put a link to the corrected texture size.

Thank you, though I do not understand why a rocket Energia do not KSP popular in the community and it is considered transporting Buran, I think it does not underestimate or she does not have a strong public relations. The unique location in the side of the payload that is very interesting, for example, you can take out a heavy payload of very diverse kinds. Here is a simple example of 65t payload,shuttle 35t.Of course it is useful in real life.
