[0.14 stock][heavy orbiter] Phoenix II

Recommended Posts

Here I am again with another rocket designed for looks first and functionality second. Don\'t get too scared when I say that. I did my best to ensure that it\'s flyable. ;)

Any of you who have flown my previous creation, Deimos, know how tricky flying a non-radially-symmetric craft can be.

Flight tips:

* No pitch tendency at liftoff (now is your chance to do your roll).

* Pitch-up tendency throughout rest of flight (Very slight shortly after outer rockets are staged).

* You will need to throttle down a little as the last tanks of the outer rockets deplete.

* Keep track of the fuel on those outer rockets. The engines do not turn off when those tanks are empty. Eject them when those tanks are empty.

Good luck, pilots!
