You're using the 32-bit (x86) version of KSP, which cannot use more than 3.5 GB of whatever total RAM you have available on your system (i.e. if you have 4 GB total, KSP can only use 3.5) - the crash occured because your game is trying to ask for more RAM than it is allowed to use.

Here are some suggestions:

- Delete add-ons you don't use often

- Active Texture Management will reduce RAM usage

- Forcing KSP to run on OpenGL will also save lots of RAM

- The 64-bit version of KSP can use more than 3.5 GB of RAM (be warned, however, that it is still highly experimental and prone to bugs that don't exist in the 32-bit version of the game)

64 bit version?

no, i cant even use mods normally with it.

Hence why I stated that x64 was experimental.

Try the other three suggestions and let us know how you get on.

Okay, OpenGL helps, but it lags.

X64... I havent tryed it, but it crashed on loading before. Texture management - crash.

...Gonna try and delete TAC. Its not adding much content as other stuff, like b9 or firespitter, so i can try.

And will see if its lagging because of OpenGL or just lag.

And i just saw you deleted my pokemon reference content.

Okay, OpenGL helps, but it lags.

OpenGL does have some adverse impact on in-game FPS, depending on your computer's specifications.

Texture management - crash.

Have you given ATM time to process all the textures first? It will freeze for a moment when it does so, and then the game will continue loading normally.

...Gonna try and delete TAC. Its not adding much content as other stuff, like b9 or firespitter, so i can try.

Usually it's the big parts packs such as B9 that can push your game over the memory limit, since it's the textures that use up the most memory.

And i just saw you deleted my pokemon reference content.

The Pokemon reference provided no meaningful or relevant information to the actual problem at hand, and so I removed it.

X64... I havent tryed it, but it crashed on loading before. Texture management - crash.

And will see if its lagging because of OpenGL or just lag.

I fixed the problem by deleting TAC, but the new problem is, when i went into SPH after recovering vessel, game crashed. And i think another ram problem... Going to check out error.log now.

Oh, wait, i tried to into SPH in sandbox and no crash, i think that was a random problem!

Nope, i dont think same problem can happen two times in a row under same conditions. I dont know what to delete now! Because i want B9 so much!

This is why I recommended you to use OpenGL and/or Active Texture Management in the first place - they allow major RAM savings without having to sacrifice add-ons.

So, with use of Active Texture Management i need to instal 32 bit version if i play 32 bit version of ksp?

That's right.

It worked!!!!! The texture management thing worked!!!!! I dont need to sacrifice addons, theres no crashes after recovering vessel and going into building mode, no crashing while recovering vessel, no crash when loading, and the loading time is decreased very much! Thank you, kind sir Sumghai!
