Raijin - Around the world in 46 minutes

Last night, I was just messing around in sandbox mode and I decided to create a high speed/high altitude aircraft. Little did I know that this aircraft would circumnavigate Kerbin, using only about half of its fuel, on its first test flight.

The only mod required should be Spaceplanes Plus.

Edit - Oh, yes - I should mention that TAC fuel balancer is highly recommended, as high speed and poor coordination balance do not mix!

An SSTO version may be in the works, stay tuned!

Not a bad design.

I did the same trip around the world, for a challenge some months ago. Did it in just over 45min with a 63 passenger plane....

But I like the looks of your design better, expecially how you clipped the intakes into the body so they look like they were molded into the fuselage.
