well that's going to be annoying to kill...

Yup. :P

I made sure to up-armor the entire hull, leaving space inside to prevent parts from piercing the hull and hitting the internals, plus I added engine nozzle guards to help prevent engine damage. The ship (SX-12, since my SX-11's still a WIP battlecruiser) should be quite effective, since I also managed to stay below 520 parts with a full ammo load. :D

Well, There was a slight... setback... in my plans.

Whatever. KATEC isn't dead.

I have new naval ship I've been working on... and it'll fit VLS missiles and VTOL aircraft. :)

Not in a practical way for missiles.

Found a way of doing it but I'm pretty sure there are better ways... Anyway these are much more powerful and accurate than the disc rockets. :)

that's just an I beam projectile nothing new. maybe the orientation and the connecting part is but the projectile is highly used in small interceptors

I know that they are commonly used. I just hadn't had a way to attach them radially rather than linearly in the past. My fighters were using disc rockets previously which are inaccurate and don't do much damage.

I've got no idea what happened there, but I'm not too concerned, since I know the mods are good at what they do.

In any case, I mightbe ready to battle someone soon, once I finish one or two more craft.

A bit? Lol they are very complex. BTW fleet has decided to insult andrew on KATEC and andrew returned fire. They are both banned and the thread was deleted but then returned

You know what the weird thing is? Despite all the additions (Proper vernors, structural skeleton, increased torque, and reduced (yes, reduced) size) The tradeoff is very little.

I'm lugging around 2 extra tons and losing some range for it but because I was willing to exchange part count for mass it's less of a loss than if I stuck 2 tons onto the older version.

I also made a custom reticle for Romfarers docking camera.
