Ever wanted to move Kerbals around instantaneously within the confines of the stock game? Look no more. All you need is a command chair and a little creativity.

How it works:

The key to getting this to work is to place a command chair inside of another part. When you have done this successfully, leaving the command chair will cause the kerbal to pop out on top of whatever object is above it, moving head-first. This extends to any part on top of the original part blocking the point of exit.

I haven't tested that yet. I could probably use "Hack Gravity" in the debug menu to replicate the effect.

I've tested it with hack gravity and it works.

Nice one Gus. Ive always wondered if the 'popping up' kerbal phenomenon could be exploited. Could be a way of simulating crew transfer?

Does it work with two long ships docked together?

Further testing is required. :)

I had actually thought about using this for an Eve lander like the one Overfloater posted.
