No part testing contracts showing up

Recommended Posts

For some odd reason I have not seen a single part testing contract. I'm not too upset about this since normally there is too many. But sometimes I need a bit of easy money.

Anyway, have quite a few mods many of which alter contracts.

Running KSP 24.2 x32.

Because you have mods that add new contracts, that leaves a bigger choice of contract for the game to randomly pick a type from, thus lowering the chance it will pick a part-testing one (say the only contracts possible are part testing and transmitting science - the chance of you getting a part test is 50%. If there's part testing and 9 other types, that's just a 10% chance it'll get picked). The game does pick them entirely at random though so I guess you're just in an unlucky streak.

Yeah I understand that and at first I figured it was just that. But the. I say and declined dozens of contracts and never got a part tester. Last night I backed up my save and reset the contracts a few times and still no part testers.

So tried resetting contracts and declining dozens to get a part tester to show up. Never did in the testing. Just kept playing and finally got one. So I guess the game just doesn't deal well with a lot of mods adding extra contract types.
