I'd like to see other stock-a-like options for the FTX-2 Fuel Duct, especially a Cryogenic Orange one and a Plain White one for starters. Possibly Gold Foil and Copernicus style too.

I'll have to look, but I think it's not possible without a plugin. Last I looked at the configs for them, they didn't have anything special in the way of modules determining what they do. I think they're special cases, hardcoded into the game.

I have a suggestion, you should add tweakscale support.

I've been very productive today. It's taken a good number of hours, but I put together my most complex part modeling project so far. A 4x nuclear engine. Yay! I think it's turning out great.

It's great that the parts you're making are pretty much fractions or multiples of stock parts (like that big nuke is 4 LV-Ns, both in specs and appearance). Doesn't feel like they give an unfair advantage over stock aside from reducing part counts.

Yep, I think that's really the ideal way to make sure the parts stay stock-balanced.

I think I'll be able to release this next update pretty shortly. I'll post another update when I do.

Added several parts in 0.625m. Two lengths of jet fuel tanks, a turbojet, ram air intake, and a matching intake at 1.25m.

This pack has become a must for me. Excellent parts that look stock and fill niche roles that are otherwise missing.

Love the nosecones. If I could request one thing, it would be a 0.625m nosecone (because I don't like the stock one), although TweakScale support sort of takes care of that anyways.

Thanks, glad you're enjoying it! Yep, a small nose cone is on my list. The stock one is asymmetrical, since it's meant for aircraft. So that's something I've been meaning to add.

OK, tonight's update (I was very productive!):

A "three-quarter jumbo" tank, with flag decals:

Size-2 ASAS module. As Red pointed out a little while ago, the stock one uses size-0 attachment nodes, which is a bit of an oversight. To make this new one meaningful, not only does it use the size-2 nodes, but it's also 20% beefier than the stock one, in terms of mass, cost, and torque. So in effect, for every 5 of them, you would need 6 of the stock modules to achieve the same thing. But the cost in both funds and mass is the same, per unit of torque. The exterior is a scaled down version of the 3.75m one I made previously, but the "interior" is remodeled and re-textured.

Aerodynamic structural pylons. All three use the same model and texture, to save on memory (and development time). They provide a little lift, but mainly are meant for holding attachments. Shown with the 0.625m LFO fuel tanks I made:

Also tweaked the appearance of the quad-nuke. Lightened the grey color of the reactors to be closer to the stock one. Also enlarged the engine bell by 9% (as high as I could go without moving its position, and still fit inside the space I allocated with the fairing, so it doesn't break savegames). I think the new proportions look pretty good (especially when you consider that wide bells make a lot of sense for vacuum use).

Tonight, a little more progress toward 0.5.

Added some white stripes to the 3.75m monopropellant tank. Made a 0.625m nose cone, and also added 0.625m basic jet parts (intake and engine) to go with the turbojet versions already released. Also reworked the aerodynamic pylons a little over what I did last night (mainly making them shorter and thicker).
