When I right-click on the ERS Crew Module, I do not get any of the buttons shown at 0:48 in the video. All I see if Electric Charge. I've double-checked my installation and it seems OK. I must be doing something wrong.

Try this version of "JSIPartUtillities"

I'm having a problem where the rover wheels are stuck to the surface. Seem this bug on earlier versions, but can't remember what causes it. (I've got the JSI Partutilities dll, above. Does that go in Gamedata/JSI/Partutilities/Pluigins?)

Have latest ModuleManager, Firesplitter Core etc.

Yes. That's where I put it. Where do you have the firespitter.dll? It goes in GameData/Firespitter/Plugins

This fits so nicely inside a 5m volume. Hmmm, what could that possibly mean?

I put one under the Endurance lander. It a tad too big (in fact its the opposite, the lander is too small). Its the best way I found to deliver the ASET rover to other planet.

Well, the CKAN guys seem to say its preferable that the dev support CKAN directly (at least getting the metadata in the right place in their distro). Sure, they'll pull it, but it's not smooth after updates.

And ASET parts do have high dependencies/requirements:

Put JSI PartUtilities in "Gamedata/JSI/Partutilities/Pluigins"

Firespitter (only "core" plugin)

For Advanced IVA:

- Packages ‘ASET_Props’ and "ERS_Advanced_IVA_Enabler.cfg" (from "ERS_Options" folder) need to be installed into Gamedata/ASET/

ASET Props Pack v1.1.0

- RasterPropMonitor plugin 0.19.2 or higher is required! (Without it, the pod won’t function at all)..

DL: https://github.com/Mihara/RasterPropMonitor/releases

Thread: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...g-the-A-in-IVA

Recommended mods:

- To display maps, SCANsat plugin is required.

Thread: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...version-Apr-22

- To see ship layout on the screens, VesselView (RPM version) is required.

Thread: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...-Vessel-Viewer

- for IVA docking glory Docking Port Alignment Indicator is required.

Thread: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...-03-07-2015%29

- To make ERS-rover even more beautiful by adding reflections on the windows Reflection Plugin is required.

Thread: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...ntinued-0-24-2

MM-patch has been added to enable this option. Put "ERS_Reflective_Glasses_Enabler.cfg" (from "ERS_Options" folder) into GAMEDATA/ASET/

- For transparent glass:

Put "ERS_Transparent_Cabin_Enabler.cfg" (from "ERS_Options" folder) into GAMEDATA/ASET/

Required JSI RasterPropMonitor (0.19.2 or higher)

ATTENTION!

transparent mode does not work correctly with the RPM 0.19.2. I do not recommend to use it till RPM update will be released. this will be reported in the ERS topic on forum.

-Module Manager 2.6.0+

Thread: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...-in-first-post

I don't think they're at all unreasonable - ASETs gear is absolutely first rate, but there's a lot for people to get wrong in all of that as each of those has its own update path. JSI and firespitter are in CKAN, RPM is, SCANsat is, VesselView is, DPAI is, Reflector is, MM is. Of that whole list, the only thing that hasn't been in CKAN is the ASET part itself.

Is this JSIPartUtilities the one generated from artwhaley's source?

EDIT: I see that they have the same MD5 hash, but I just want to confirm.

if I do not get mixed up, this DLL is from here:

hmmm ... I have no idea what you're talking ... :D

but if seriously, lateral arrangement of such big rover in the cargo module of "Konquest" was not in initial plans, but by a happy coincidence, it exactly fits in the internal dimensions of the module

I have always had a problem with the wheels on this MOD. For some reason when I select the wheels to attach, it seems to overlap two wheels so there are two attachments on just one part. Almost like they're mirrored on top of each other. Any suggestions?

Since it works for me, the only suggestion I have would be to double-check that you are turning on the appropriate nodes. Right-clicking on the different parts allows you to see many different options for where to have nodes exist. Also, when you right click on a wheel (before attachment!) you can toggle the suspension. These are the only things I can think of, assuming that you have the appropriate JSIPartUtilities.

If none of this helps, could you perhaps post a picture illustrating the problem?

I feel dumb. So I didn't have the JSIPartUtlilties installed. So now I have the wheel problem fixed. Now I am running into a glitch when I launch the rover where it doesn't want to drive... lol

Do your wheels look as if they are partially buried in the asphalt? That's what happened to me when I upgraded the JSIPartUtilities just now. I was able to set the nodes properly but now even if I launch the rover from a height, the wheels still bury themselves in the asphalt and won't move the rover forward. Plus, when I try to steer, the front wheel tilt along the vertical axis instead of the horizontal.

Please post a Pic Movado sounds like and don't mean this in a bad way but sounds like you put it together wrong.

EDIT- I can build the rover no problem drive it around no problem but there must be alot of bugs in PartUtilities this is what happens when you deploy the ladder or wheels

I might be. Here's an album of me creating pretty much the simplest driveable ESR.

Back in my South Pole Challenge ESR in 0.90 (https://imgur.com/a/HAfdB?gallery), I didn't have this issue; however, I did have the double overlapping wheel issue, which was less of a problem.

The dual wheel attachment points will be JSIpartUtilities not working correctly. The left and right handed suspension variants are both modelled into the part, and JSI simply hides one or the other depending on how you set the wheel up. I bet it's broken in 1.0, and may not have been fixed yet in Mihara's absence.

The "Audio Described" sounds are just comical! It's like 1980's Batman. With Kerbals...

Glad you're dabbling again, Alex :)
