I feel like this would be best suited to General KSP discussion. It's intended for Newbies as well as veterans, and newbies rarely ever check down here.

I actually agree with GregroxMun here. This thread seems to be more suited to General KSP discussion, after all. If some friendly mod could please move it back I would appreciate it very much.

I am pleased to be counted in such esteemed company. It is a bit confusing to me that I have received so much rep, most if not all of the people below me on that list have contributed far more to the community than I have, whether through developing amazing mods, completing awesome missions, sharing wonderful designs, helping keep the forums on the rails, or making videos, images and written content both enlightening and entertaining. I'm just a wisecracker with an opinion about everything.

I do think it is a good idea, rather than just listing names with no info.

I do sometimes wonder if there is a correlation between rep level and number of posts- the more active you are, the more likely you are to have done something rep worthy. I know there's a couple of things I tend to give it for- inspirational craft design, informative analyses, enjoyable fan work things, or being helpful.

Or, occasionally, because I think that person is awesome, and if the rep bar is supposed to mean something, they should have more. Though I would probably feel weird, getting some just randomly like that...

You can see a sorted list beside post count here. I think of rep/postcount as a better measure than rep alone, on the first page there you can see Majorjim, Xacktar and Overfloater managed to get their light green bars with fewer than 1000 posts. Not sure about Cap't Skunky, he may have had rep added by the system where he was community manager when it was implemented, similar to the Squad account.

I knew I had collected a lot of reputation points, but I had never expected to be number 18 on the entire forum. And as recently as January, I only had a single bar.

Updated the Light-Green Group. It's actually amazing how much change there was compared to only a week ago. There's a new member of the Group now, as well: TriggerAu. Welcome!

A few notes:

I know that some of the people mentioned may have had their Rep count artificially boosted (SQUAD and Cap'n Skunky). However, this isn't really a competition, and both of the people with boosted reputations contributed enormously to the actual game. Thus, I'm keeping them in the OP.

Some people have suggested that I include a +Rep to post ratio. I don't really have a problem with this, except for the fact that I would have to hand-edit this ratio more often than once a week for it to be even vaguely accurate. I wish I had the time for that... and I may in a little while. However, for the time being, I'm not going to include it yet.

...and I still think that this might be of more help to new Forum-goers (and more seasoned Forumers alike) to be in the General Discussion... if a mod could move it back (or give me a fair reason that it's currently in Kerbal Network), that would be great. Thanks.
