Many thanks to all those involved in the development of RO. I can not express in words how grateful I am to all those people who spend their time in order for others to play your favorite game. I am now studying programming, now my knowledge very weak, I hope someday in the future when I have a good knowledge, I'm just gonna be able to give people such beautiful things as you do now, guys. Good luck to you all, I wish you inspiration, a lot of money, and health. I would like to say more but English is not my native language. All the best

Yeah, I'm having the same issue. The log says [EXC 10:19:56.509] NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
    ModuleRCS.FixedUpdate ()

Same here....[EXC 16:21:40.952] NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
    ModuleRCS.FixedUpdate ()

I searched and in older versions was same problem:

Working: fix is

install RealFuels via CKAN

delete then stock RealFuels from GameData

(+ it installed via CKAN automaticaly CRP I think)

I installed via CKAN SolverEngines, RealPlume too...idk if this is needed too

I feel like a kid on Christmas eve again, thanks everyone who worked on this! 

I'd much appreciate a fool-proof install via CKAN. I don't expect that to take very long?

Edit: managed to install it manually (including RP-0), but I'd feel more comfortable playing on a CKAN install :P

hi guys, quick one for you while we wait for the CKAN release :D I took the following list of related mods from a readme file I found inside the zip archive, but it seems a bit outdated - if anyone wants to help confirm if the below is accurate to install a proper manual RO set-up would be awesome :D

Many of the recommended and suggested mods are outdated, but we should have at least the dependencies installed via CKAN soon enough.

Meanwhile you shouldn't have a problem installing manually. You'll need:

  • Advanced Jet Engine  (check last page for 1.1.2 compatible update)
  • Deadly Re-entry
  • Ferram Aerospace Research 
  • Kerbal Joint Reinforcement 
  • KSCSwitcher (if you're going with RSS)
  • Kopernicus (if you're going with RSS)
  • Module Manager 
  • Real Chute 
  • Real Fuels 
  • Real Heat 
  • Real Plume 
  • SmokeScreen 
  • VSR

I'm probably forgetting something. But if you install these above via CKAN, they should pull their dependencies. Then use AVC to check for the latest version of each and download/install manually.

I've seen you updated the SSTU support (which is awesome). I didn't get any realplume, but only stock effects, are the plumes not patched or did I somehow make a mistake installing?

EDIT: SSTU says it has RP integration to begin with. Strange... So please ignore this, the issue isn't with RO either way.
