Parts Manual

Still, maybe there's a good concept here; Maybe someone could make a quick reference, with quick info on all the parts? Or manuevers/quick information on planets or other things? A simple pdf document, perhaps?

It'd probably be a pain to update it, but someone might be willing to maintain it. If not, it could be a sort of crowdsourced document. Similar to the crowd-sourced science logs thing. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/56510-0-23-Crowd-sourced-Science-Logs-SCIENCE-NEEDS-YOU!

It'd be cool to just have a sheet with tips you can reference with things like "Remember the SAS" or "Don't go to space 1 hour after eating" (maybe not that last one)

Heck, i'd totally download something like that.

Again, it'd probably be a pain to maintain (ryhme not intended), but if it's crowd-sourced or something, it might not be so bad. As long as it doesn't end up a dead project.

What more would you want other than what's already on the wiki?

For parts check http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Parts. You can't go much more comprehensive. Size, weight, cost, thrust, ISP, everything. It even has links to more elaborate information.

For planets check http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Kerbol_System/Table. Again this page has everything important. Including links to more detailed information.

I think more games should come out with 'print' version of the rule set. When I say 'print' I really mean 'also used on Kindle'

Eve Online for example would make an interesting one although its a good point that rules do change.

Like a wiki, in fact? Don't forget, if there's something you want on there YOU can create it!

(And not just you, but everyone else, so get working Tux and rdwulfe ^^).

True, and just as you said that, I found something on the wiki that's basically exactly what I was talking about (but perhaps goes more in depth than I had imagined): http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Tutorial:Game_Manual

I guess it really does exist, if I had just spent the 10 seconds to google it. :P

Good ho! Indulge yourself in the 100-odd pages of mine, too (link in signature).

What I was thinking of doing is creating a mission manifest. Once I have rockets prooven then have specs of each of the ships/rockets, price and 'to dos', then I will send it to congress :)

knowing me I will actually do none of that.
