More info is needed! Screenshots would be best, but also: what is your craft periapsis, do you have any mods installed, are you actually going towards the Mun?

I think you might want to try out some of the in-game tutorials that explain orbital mechanics and how to get to Mun. In addition, Vanamode has a nice Mun tutorial. I'm sure he'll be by soon to get you a link. Good luck!

Try press the M key to go to map view to see if you are actually going any closer to the Mun.
