The animation works fine, but the part is weakly attached (bounces around) and the gear itself doesn't seem to provide much of a push at all. I removed the animation and the leg parts, and then the main piece was fine, firm attachment and everything.

I followed Bahamutos's guide for this.

I had the issue before, different part, but ultimately the same problem, no support, and they bounce like crazy.

EDIT: so now the landing leg sort of works, it will hold up the craft when it is open, when when you retract it, the ship falls instantly, not smoothly with the animation, not sure if this is normal or not.

Another problem is that the wing piece when attached to the top of the fuselage (where it's supposed to be) it turns transparent, like if you leave a part not attached in the editor, and then disappears when you launch.

Those wing parts are actually attached, not just laying there.

EDIT2: The problem with the wing appears to lie with the primary node on the wing itself.
