  1. I one time accidentally created a Kraken drive while trying to build an Me 163 replica-ish thing. I don't know if I still have the footage of that or not. I'll see if I can find it.
  2. To be specific last time I checked either arrival or orbital insertion is July 4.

  5. Actually I like this. Think about an airship. It's something that always stayed in the air. Sure it had to come down to take on passengers. A spaceship would follow this definition somewhat.
  6. There is already a mod that allows you to do this (I believe it is called BULB). But the title says it all. Allow us to change the color of lights in flight. It isn't a big deal, but it would still be convenient and shouldn't be that hard to do.
  7. Yeah, I have the screwdriver equipped. Edit: Ok I figured it out. For some reason it showed that I had the tool equipped but it actually wasn't, however I tried again and it worked. IDK what happened the first. I will try to reproduce it.
  8. I am trying to attach a battery. At first I tried to attach it to a fuel tank so I though that it made sense that you wouldn't want to like drill holes in a fuel tank. So I tried to attach it to just structural parts and that didn't work eihter. So I tried to attach it to anything and every time it siad the Target is not Allowed.
  9. OK. So I have a question. I try to attach an object and no matter what I try to attach it to it says target not allowed. Is there a problem with the install or am I missing something?
  10. I've seen floating rocks, but never that are several meters off the ground.
  11. Was pentaborane actually ever tested, or was all of that just theoretical and stopped because they realized it was too dangerous?
  12. I think the problems with 1.x and its performance drops are all the new calculations the game has to do with heat and aerodynamics compared to the previous versions.

  14. I accidentally created one while trying to build and Me 163. I'm still trying to figure out how to make it actually operable as it just kind of spins out right now.
  15. Docking. This took me forever to get down, and even longer to master. I can't even tell you how many attempts I made for my first docking.
  16. I've wanted to do a series in which I put realistic(ish) commentary over KSP launch footage, for awhile. So I've attempted it finally, and honestly I think it came out petty good. It isn't perfect, again this is just my first attempt. Also the mods that are being used are not finalized, for example I want to add clouds. So this is the first report and mission commentary on what I hope will be a series of mission reports. Subzero Aerospace is proud to release this footage of our first orbital launch attempt. This launch features the first flight of our light orbital launch vehicle Pyrois (sometimes referred to as Pyrois 1 due to early prototypes). The payload for this mission is TestSat1, a scientific platform with instruments to measure atmosphere composition, density, and insolation at 100 km in altitude. The vehicle also has four antennae and four solar panels with battery units. There are 4 Monopropellant tanks with a combined capacity of 81.8 liters of propellant. The spacecraft combined with its decoupler has a mass of 827 kg. The launch vehicle weighs 13,751 kg at launch. The first stage is powered by a Wildcat V Liquid Fuel Rocket Motor, and the first stage tank has 8897 liters of propellant. The second stage is powered by an RMA-3 Vacuum Engine, and the second stage tank has 2608 liters of propellant. The fairings and the coupler base weighs 245 kg. It can also fly with up to four Pyrois Solid Rocket Motors (PSRMs), but they were not necessary for this flight as the payload is about 50% of the maximum mass that can be launched into orbit. Again, this is my first attempt at doing something like this, so if you have any ideas, tips, or constructive criticisms, please share them.

  18. Unfortunately, I just removed it from the folder which killed all the engine effects. I will see if I can fix the issue. I may try reinstalling Real Plume. - - - Updated - - - Ok managed to get it to run with stock engine effects. I removed the RealPlume_Configs folder from the Realism Overhaul folder in GameData. Still don't know why Real Plume won't work.
  19. Hmmm, is anyone else having an issue with Real Plume. For me it is causing this weird jitteriness. It doesn't drop any frames, it just freezes for a moment and then gets back to normal and then freezes again. I don't know if it my computer or if there is an issue with the install or what. If the engine is shut off its fine, and I removed real plume and its fine.
  20. It actually is a tan-ish color. This animation is in black and white.
  21. I think everything is great. The heating is a bit weird, and I wish there were structural failures like with FAR. But, the laws of physics changing every other week is a bit annoying.
  22. I am glad to see that this has devolved into trying to offend people. No one knows what happened yet officially. No one can make a definitive statement.
  23. With Falcon 9 yes. Falcon 1 failed 3 times I believe.
  24. Aren't all the resupply vessels except the HTV now grounded? Oh dear this is bad.
