I've only been playing KSP for a few days now. The first and most important lesson I've learned is to set small achievable goals as well as large long term goals. Even while I was mastering (methodically) the navball and LKO, I knew these skills would serve as a foundation for all my future endeavors. It has been my experience that each goal achieved brings tremendous satisfaction no matter the scope. The level of depth ensures that you will not run out of chances to amaze yourself anytime soon.
