  1. We've all been there. While Kerbals like to sneak onto our rockets solar panels apparently like to vanish once in space (you added them, you KNOW it!). Kerbals make due without ladders, SAS, or sometimes without fellow Kerbal contact for years while they wait for the rescue mission you swear you'll get to someday. So, as the title asks, what is your biggest blunder in KSP? I made mine recently. I had launched a moon lander/orbiter paired ship and made it to Munar orbit after a lot of tweaking and time (I'm still relatively new to the game) and undocked the lander from the "mother ship" that had enough fuel in it for me to knock out all of the biomes on the Mun. I had placed a nose cone on a decoupler on the engine of the lander as it was upside down and on the top of the rocket at launch. In Mun orbit while controlling the lander I hit the space bar, the decoupler fires and nothing happens.... I had attached the nose cone directly to the engine some how O_o. Had to redo all my work. May not seem like much to you experts but it was a very costly error for me. So I'm excited to hear about your greatest "oh duh" moments!! Cheers!
  2. So I'm seeing the ARM update videos and pictures.. And there's a NASA Logo on the Fuel Tanks. Which I really hope is optional. BEFORE I'm attacked, I love NASA. They're great. But I'm playing KERBAL Space Program, and I think the inclusion of a real space agency in game is illusion breaking. So anyone know if it's optional? Or feel like I do? Also after seeing that I thought it would be cool if WE chose the flag/decal that goes on the fuel tanks and boosters. So the flag you made or chose is on your rockets. You want the NASA flag you can have a NASA Flag, but if you want a Kerbal flag you can give yourself a cool rocket with Jeb's wild grin on it. That's my two cents. Thanks all!
  3. Hullo Guys! I've been madly obsessed with this game the last few months since I first downloaded it, point being I'm new and even though I've read the Forum Rules and looked for this in a previous post and think this post is new and not a repeat, if I'm not following rules correctly or you have any advice for me oh how to post please let me know! So my suggestion is that it would be cool if the Kerbal on the Mun in the start screen was interactive, like his eyes followed your mouse and if you clicked on him he waved. Hit the space bar and he jumps, or if you move your cursor in a circle quickly he gets dizzy and falls. My idea was inspired by old Nintendo 64 games like Star Fox and Mario, so if you've played those you'll know what I'm getting at. Thanks glad to be a NEW member of this awesome kommunity!
