  1. Did you go straight up? If so you're wasting a lot of fuel (this is because your thrust has to counter gravity completely). I would try going up to 5000m or so (this is the Mün so you don't need to worry about drag) then turn in the direction you want to orbit. This should allow you to raise you apoapsis enough. :D

Keep it up, you'll reach Duna in no time! :D

  2. I could entertain the theory that, for Apollo 11, they landed but broadcast fake images (purely because of the risks involved).

But I personally believe they did land.

I find it hilarious that the largest proportion of disbelievers are American. Though of course they might believe it means that America pulled off the biggest con in the world which might be worth more to these fools than actually landing...

  3. I speak English, enough German, and enough French. :D

It is cool to see how far the game has gone. Credit to the world wide web I suppose... Imagine what life would be like without it, KSP probably wouldn't exist and I'd be outside playing (well, I wouldn't, the garden isn't safe and neither is the road, but you get the idea).

And on the subject of a Kerbal language; It would be cool if it could be added to the game. :D

  4. I prefer mac as my main computer. I use it for most things because I prefer iWorks to Office.

However, we do have a desktop Windows XP which I run a few games on (Silent Hunter, Dawn of War, Supreme Commander, Mount and Blade, etc). At the same time I use my mac to surf the web.

We also have a Linux for 'tinkering'.

I would disagree with the statement: 'A lot of stuff doesn't work on Mac.' (For example spell-checker works great in Safari. :D ) If you said: 'Many things aren't made for Mac.' Then I'd agree, though I have noticed a lot of games getting cross-platform support now that steam is on Mac. Perhaps the old problem was that it was harder/more expensive to target Mac users and now steam means that they don't have to spend as much to get it to us.

Hope this all remains civil. :D

  5. Yes, but you also have to look at the quality of game Minecraft really is, while I for one am a very big Minecraft fan and play the game almost every day, to be honest if you look at the amount of bugs and everything that get overlooked and have never been fixed compared to KSP then yeah.

And (not to put Notch and Co down) updating Minecraft was relatively simple. The basic premise of the regular updates was 'add a block, block code used from previous work, done' then 'add one new item with a different feature, more coding needed' and finally 'fix some bugs'.
