  1. Why am I aware? I took the time to download the mod. Why should you make the license clearly visible? Aside from it being accepted practice on the forums (mods having been taken down before due to only having the license in the download), user convenience. You can see the license without downloading additional pages or files.
  2. Would it be much effort to add the license to the OP? I am aware it is included in the download.
  3. There's a dev version out. If knowing that there is, is insufficient knowledge to use that version, then you might just have to wait a little longer.
  4. GPL infects it anyway, if it is a dependency that it comes packaged with. Then again, IANAL, so there is that. In any event at least it is clear that the CC-BY-NC-ND license does not apply to the entire mod, just the original parts by Proot. The included components have incompatible licenses that prevent such sublicensing.
  5. Hmm. Its been answered several times, but to do it again: No, a fresh install on an existing save will not capture 'awards that should have been awarded'. The only way to do this would be to start a fresh game, and have the awards on that fresh game. Technically, you can manually add awards to your kerbals using save file editing, but it is not going to be any kind of automatic process at all.
  6. This model is optional. You would have to enable it in the RT settings - as by default it uses the much simpler model you are likely seeing.
  7. I believe there is a RSS patch to modify antenna ranges. There is already the Root/Additive range model, which already makes the antenna communication range dependent on both antennas.
  8. The collaborative nature of it would be the only issue. If all the contributors agreed, there would be no issue with them reissuing the code under a different license. That seems unlikely to happen, though. Probably for the best. As much as FAR is an integral part of KSP to some of us, to many it is an unwelcome intrusion of the real world on their game mechanics.
  9. Discussed is perhaps a strong word. The post was not replied to, in point of fact.
  10. Doesnt matter, he has a probe core and should have remote control.
  11. How do you add the orange ones? They are not there with just RT installed...
  12. Perhaps an interaction with another mod? Or else it only happens on some other certain condition.
  13. Yeah, this happens to me. I have found that it depends where the cursor is. Some strategies, I can hover the mouse on them, and the screen stays visible as long as I dont move the mouse. Move it off though, and the whole overlay is gone. move it around at random, try to find another spot... Interestingly, I found that after I completed Mun Probes, it stopped doing it. I was thrilled! Unfortunately, it started doing it again after I completed Mun Mission / started Duna Probes.
  14. So... swing wings? I would love to see something with automatic wing sweep in KSP. Takeoffs with 14 degrees sweep, mach 2 with 57 degrees sweep...
  15. My button is in Blizzy's toolbar for some reason (I generally prefer that anyway). I dont have a hover menu though, and I cant seem to get to the command pods dialogue?
  16. You know, internet connection (or high bandwidth remotetech connection) could also be a hab multiplier, really.
  17. well, thats not actually the way it works on a typical 747. Several generations of flight instructors have been making that mistake in instruction...
  18. So Ive got a probe instructed to point to TGT prograde at the moment. The tooltip says that TGT prograde is directly towards the target. Instead, its orienting itself to orbital prograde, which is not really the same thing at present. Known bug?
