  1. Good to see this finally be released! You've done a good job with it too.
  2. @Columbia That looks good, you've really improved a lot over the years! The Saturn V is ever-so nearer to achieving flight, the second stage now doesn't explode in flight.
  3. Apollo Project progress update Flight tested the CM and LM. They're unwieldy to control, but aesthetically I am very satisfied with how they've turned out. The first stage has taken shape aesthetics-wise. The next step is to make it actually capable of flight, which means adding engines and fuel.
  4. A spiritual successor to my original Barnstorming Biplane, now equipped with stock propellors. Requires infinite electricity to fly. To spin up motors, detach the propeller and use alt-E to make it spin. As the propeller is rather underpowered, it can only manage 32 m/s in level flight at best. Also the engine torque affects the handling in the same way as the Sopwith Camel, so it will occasionally nosedive out of the sky. But it is quite fun to fly. KerbalX Download
  5. Avro Arrow mark 2 released. https://kerbalx.com/Yukon0009/Avro-Arrow-v2
  6. Saturn V is taking on shape. Rebuilding the first stage entirely so that it has less parts and with a less complicated structure, hopefully it will be more stable in-flight. The engines are Vectors with SRBs to generate an exhaust plume to look nice.
  7. Saturn IB. Needs a very strange launch profile to get to orbit from all the drag. Also very short on payload, just like the real thing.
  8. Ki-43! https://kerbalx.com/Yukon0009/ki-43
  9. I suspect the way the lower stage was built was the reason for the explosion, I previously built it with 4 of the medium empty SRBs as structural support, and just about everything hung from those and the decoupler. Attatching everything from a central spine of fuel tanks seems to reduce the explosion count somewhat. Anyways, I felt a bit of a historical kick, and built an R-7 with the pretty, shiny fairings, and a V-2 that won't fly straight. And I uploaded my BF-109 to Kerbalx. By tweaking and adjusting the prop angle, I managed to push it up to 50 m/s over the previous 30 m/s in level flight. https://kerbalx.com/Yukon0009/BF-109-prop
  10. Ranger-inspired lifting body that I want to use as an universal low-gravity lander (because it's cool.) Flies surprisingly well actually, it lands mostly without any trouble and managed to even do a partial lifting/vertical powered landing on Duna on the first try.
  11. So the testing went fine, until it detonated about 7km up in the air. Back to the drawing board...
