KEP Patch updated to v1.1! Here's the changelog: [COLOR=#333333]KEP Patch version 1.1 (21.10.2014) [/COLOR] [DEADLYREENTRY] The UP13 decoupler (1.25m) is no more converted into the UP10 but now into the UP05 decoupler (0.625m). [DEADLYREENTRY] The UP25 decoupler (2.5m) is no more converted into the UP20 but now into the UP10 decoupler (1.25m). [DEADLYREENTRY] The UP20 decoupler (2m) is no more converted into the UP1 but now into the UP20 decoupler (2.5m). [SCANSAT] Corrected the error moving the BTDT instead of the SAR sensor to Advanced Science Tech. The project thread has been updated with a longer list of recommended mods, check it out! Also, if there's someone here who can explain me the mysteries of the breaking force/torque properties (can't find any precise documentation), it will help me greatly! Well it's true that I hesitated to include MM in my zip, but it isn't better to invite people to go download the latest MM version? It's a debate ^^ -
The KEP Patch is now available on its own forum thread and on CurseForge. Also, I added a list of recommended mods on the first post. These mods will be part of the main packs on the future KEP website.

Hello guys! Sorry for the silence since July but I was busy, and I decided to wait for 0.25 to continue the project. So what's up ? - As I was thinking about a modding website for KSP, I decided to make one for more games I like to mod. But KSP will be the first game to have guides on the site. Still working on it. - Don't know if I'll keep the name "KEP". It sounds too much like a copy of STEP. - Just installed and tested 0.25 and it's very good! Nice to see Spaceplane Plus integrated (it was on my Core mods list) and that some tweaking from my patch are now stock (like the Ion engine and tanks now in Propulsion category, or the Inline Reaction Wheel now size 0). Love you, Squad! - I have to work on my patch to adapt it to 0.25 for a release on Curse. When it's done I'll open the website with the mod lists and guides. Stay tuned for more news about the project, and enjoy the Economic Boom!

KEP will not propose mod packs like "a zip file with mods inside". It will propose lists of mods, with link to the forum/curse pages. The only downloadable files will be ModuleManager patches. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

The Kerbal Enhancement Project - KEP Greetings, Kerbalnauts! I'm a long time KSP player and mods user, and since 0.24 an idea was growing in my mind. Inspired by the fantastic STEP mod guide for Skyrim, I wish to create a similar guide for Kerbal Space Program. The purpose of KEP will be to provide a complete and intuitive guideline for new or experienced modders to improve KSP with a solid well-tested mod template. What KEP will provide? Instructions about how to install and configure a fresh KSP vanilla. Detailed guide about installing and tweaking mods. A list of essential mods to improve the game, regularly updated by the community. An all-in-one patch to fix and rebalance the stock and mods parts. Extended mod packs, each adding different types of content to the base game. What kind of mods lists will be available? KEP:Core - essential mods and patches that fix and improve the existing content of KSP vanilla or add "should have been included" content. The KEP:Core is used as a base for any other setup. KEP:Extended - optional mods pack that complete the KEP:Core, improving KSP much further by adding new functionalities and content while staying consistent with the base game. KEP:RSS - integration of the Real Solar System and Realism Overhaul projects into KEP. Any other mod pack ideas? Submit yours! Note that these "mods packs" are not repackages of mods, but installation guidelines and lists of links to recommended mods. The KEP Patch can contain some redistributed parts from mods, but it's for some rare cases. What the status of KEP ? The KEP Patch is now available on its own forum thread and on CurseForge. As the KEP website is not yet open, here is a list of recommended mods that will be part of the KEP:Core and KEP:Extended packs: Action Groups Extended Active Texture Management AIES Aerospace (patched) Alternate Resource Panel Aviation Lights (patched) Better Atmospheres Chatterer Community Resource Pack Community Tech Tree (redistributed) Deadly Reentry (patched) Distant Object Enhancement DMagic Orbital Science (patched) Editor Extensions Enhanced Navball Environmental Visual Enhancements Ferram Aerospace Research Final Frontier First Person EVA Flag Decals (patched) HotRockets Kerbal Alarm Clock Kerbal Joint Reinforcement KSPX (patched) Landing Height Mark IV Spaceplane System (patched) MechJeb (patched) Mission Controller 2 ModuleManager Navball Docking Alignment Indicator Near Future Construction/Solar/Spacecraft (Patched) PartCatalog Planet Shine Procedural Fairings (patched) RCS Build Aid RealChute (patched) RemoteTech (patched) RLA Stockalike (patched) SCANsat (patched) SelectRoot Stockalike Station Parts Expansion (Patched) Stock Bug Fix Modules StockRebalance (redistributed) SXT (patched) TAC Life Support (w/o the parts) Targetron TechManager (redistributed) TextureReplacer Toolbar TurboNisu Aesthetic Parts Pack (patched) Universal Storage Core and TAC Packs (patched) Feel free to share your thoughts and suggestions about this project !
