  1. Graphics quality, par texture resolution(also increases RAM usage?), game window size, the ground scatter (a big hit), aerodynamic effects (another big hit), lights (for some), many parts, lots of smoke and staring at celestial bodies at low orbits (might be because of ground quality too)seem to decrease the performance.

  2. What is the mass of the Quantum Energy? As far as I know, massless resources tend to do that.

    -Edit-

I experimented with your mod, Quantum Energy has zero mass.

Workaround is probably increasing engine ISP and Thrust and giving Quantum Energy a tiny mass, then giving the storage probably just 10 kg of Quantum Energy (which should be lots looking at your mod)

    Awesome mod by the way

(or maybe add a converter that converts quantum energy to liquid fuel or liquid fuel and oxidiser?)

  3. If there are lots of satellites in Earth orbit, why dont they collide the Moon or the other planets?

Shouldnt the tiny Venus fall back to Earth if a big satellite collides it?

Where does the rest of the rockets other than the payload go?

If some countries have the Sun going up earlier does it mean there is like, one Sun for each timezone?

My friend, just a few minutes ago.

At least he knows a tiny bit and isnt that ignorant..

  4. Asteroids seem weak because stock parts are incredibly heat tolerant. I remember asteroids have 2500 "units" of max temperature, which is currently pathetic for giant solid space rocks.

Your explanation of a rubble pile asteroid made me wish for some more SQUAD care. They really are big and should have enormous thermal mass, they look like big space rocks, but burn up like they were made of magical space dust that cant stand heat. Maybe squad would fix.

(I'd also like a higher crash tolerance on them)

  5. -My abort button often causes big red lights aimed at the cockpit/cm/pilot seat to light up, as well as some retrorocket sepratrons.

-My manned rovers always have six wheels.

-I can dock, but I prefer not to because it is exhausting to align the docking ports and the vessels, and I get torque, so I have made Big-S lifters and boosters.

-My boosters are often suborbital if not in orbit. They stay there for my Poodle-Klaw tug to replenish fuel, even if the randezvous costs more than that tiny FLT-100 tank worth of fuel. Once drained it almost completely just to drain the rest of the fuel of my suborbital sounding rocket.

With this, I tried a weird, very draggy wing design unlike the original.

Around 6 minutes to orbit, this thing has excess oxidiser, and I also forgot to remove the unused monopropellant.

I am not the best pilot and someone could get better flights than me.

No electrical parts because its only meant to go to orbit with a small satellite and (return? without the satellite?)

    Whoops!
