  1. Getting interplanetary transfers, gravity assists are just easy. I would only use mechjeb for randezvous because its hell with lego armor (still easy for me, been like that for a few weeks). Otherwise, game without mechjeb is still fun.

    Non Mechjeb

  2. Beetween those illogical procedural-random contracts youre able to decline, the less random but procedural ones exist, and its really fun doing some of them. Also the accomplishment-rep based exploration contracts are really good.

I still have to decline 90% of the contracts though, these really need to be balanced/fixed, or even less kerbalized.

Say no to testing a lifter engine on a suborbital trajectory on Pol! (Even though the procedure is fun)

  3. I use sepratrons (theyre SRB too!) to help me get rid of my SRB cluster stages/boosters (when the smallest cluster is six kickbacks you need the sepratrons).

Maybe using sepratrons to help with munar probe landing, as its ruggedized body is resistant up to 75m/s.

  4. I dont know your descent velocity, descent profile, mass or how aerodynamic your vessel is, but here are some tips for landing on Duna.

-Triple the amount of parachutes you would use on Kerbin.

-Keep your easy to fry/easy to snap parts in cargo bays or compartment bays. Or just somewhere that it doesnt show mach effects/entry effects.

-In Duna, you want a really shallow entry, and you might still need to do a powered attempt to slow down, because the atmosphere is nowhere enough to slow down heavy and aerodynamic craft.

  5. you make a time warp request system.

Going from my example, would you land your plane for your friend to go to Eeloo? Maybe you would because youre a good person. Would your friend youre dogfighting with land and wait? Maybe he would too. Maybe he wouldnt. Those are planes. Easy enough.

But one of your friends is launching a rocket. Would you land your rocket so your friend would go to Eeloo? Maybe your interplanetary friend can wait.. In empty, boring space. Waiting for planes to land, rockets to orbit and rovers to stop.

Edit: But those are simple! What if youre on aerobrake/lithobrake trajectory while your friend is interplanetary? Well you can stop warping with requests (otherwise it would be so.. messy.) And request a slower warp so you can wait until youre close enough to reach the "fun" part like landing. While your friend is still waiting in empty space, warping slowly with you.

Then you request to stop warping and maybe your friend was a bad person/got tired of waiting/went to get snacks so he can wait more. Of course the warp doesnt stop, and you hit the ground at 10x warp.

    And quicksave/quickload system..

  6. Okay, lets think here. Imagine, you and your friends are playing together, like, you and four friends. One of them is on Mun, driving a rover. One of them is launching a rocket, you and one of them are doing dogfights in Kerbin. The last one is on transit to Eeloo. Of course he wants to timewarp.

How would timewarp work in a physics sandbox game?

Would his warp be for him only? Can you imagine the exploits?

What if Mun roving friend wants to physics warp? Wouldnt you be mad if your sensitive plane suddenly tore itself to pieces?

I really want to know how multiplayer timewarp issue would be resolved. (Sorry if its already resolved by a clever trick)

Edit: Whoops. I had to be three minutes faster.
