  1. Allow a pair of docked docking ports to be undocked from the menus of either of the docking ports instead of only one of them.
  2. That only works if the other seat is already occupied.
  3. I thought it used to be possible to undock from the context menu of either docking port but it seems now to be possible from only one of them. Did something change and if so, does anyone know why? I would prefer to be able to undock via the menu of either port.
  4. Is it possible to move to an empty seat in IVA? I want to access the controls.
  5. Is it possible to turn on the kOS cherry light part when the conditions are: the solar panels are extended and there is either a Kerbal on EVA or another vessel within 150 m?

  7. If the deleted part is at the end of a branch of the part tree then remove the part from the craft and carry on else warn the user that the craft will be deleted if they continue.
  8. Make it destructible! Putting a box around is a stupid "solution" because the box will be just as ugly as the monolith but even more obvious.
  9. Given the size, weight and cost of the RC-L01 Remote Guidance Unit, I think it should have a bigger battery and reaction wheel.
  10. So long as they don't slide down slopes too easily, I guess. Ideally they could be fixed/dug into place.
  11. I like everything as it is except for the lack of sas on the so called "stayputnik". If you want the piloted craft to have sas without a pilot then you should add a probe core. Other than that, the vab tells you what each pod provides.
  12. I would like to be able to flatten terrain for landing at and remove scatter if it ever becomes solid.
  13. I kind of like the idea but at the same time I wonder if it wouldn't get pretty boring pretty quickly? Planning maneuvers isn't that hard and then executing them is pretty easy too. It seems there would need to be more to it or you'd just be sitting around a lot.
  14. Yes but it doesn't persist; it can change back to some other control-from-here point when switching between vessels.
  15. It would be nice to be able to change it after launch as well though. That said, I think the control-from-here point changing when switching to map view is a bug.

KSP often involves loading even if it's just to change from one vessel to another and this time could be made a little useful but giving relevant advice regarding controls of the game such as: In the VAB/SPH, holding shift while clicking on any part of a vessel allows the whole vessel to be moved around In the VAB/SPH, holding alt while clicking on any part of a vessel copies that part and all parts attached to it In the VAB/SPH, holding shift while placing a part or using the translation/rotation adjusters allows snapping to half-increments In map view, right clicking on a marker will cause the information to remain visible until you right click on it again or exit map view The wording should be changed for clarity of course but there are a lot of useful tips like these that people don't often learn until they've played a long time if at all.
  17. I know but they're not of the same quality as the dedicated mods that use RasterPropMonitor as the basis for more extensive development of the IVA environments. They built-in IVAs are only meant to be demonstration.
  18. I don't want help making a mod. I don't know programming. I just wanted help to find mods that already exist.
  19. I'm new to modding the IVAs and find some of the terminology confusing (do I need to know what a prop is?). I'm looking to replace the stock IVAs and I've installed RasterPropMonitor. I have my eye on this which is awaiting an update: There is also this one but it's for a pod I rarely use: What is the relationship between RasterPropMonitor and ASET? Are they competing ways of doing the same things or do they compliment each other? Are there other stock pod IVA mods?

  21. LFO and fuel cells deliver energy quicker than RTGs so it will have to be a combination of batteries and LFO and fuel cells. RTGs are way too expensive to be used like this too!
  22. I want to send some probes into Jool and have them radio back the science data and it requires a lot of energy. The atmosphere analyser data in particular requires a lot energy.
