You could think about building a small rover with a Kerbal in it, using this cockpit, for example: http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Mk1_Inline_Cockpit (It's the Mk1 inline cockpit) You could set up a base where you process Surface samples, you know, this thing? http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Mobile_Processing_Lab_MPL-LG-2 Keep in mind that it uses up a lot of electricity and needs 2 Kerbals in order to work. However, you won't get as much science for transmitting the experiments, it's always better to bring them back to the KSP. I hope I helped, when you have some more questions then ask

Hello there, since the newest update I'm experiencing two new bugs: - Can't load planes in SPH - Can't launch planes in SPH, I only see the Exit button highlighted after clicking Launch, and no matter what I click, nothing happens. Is anyone else with OS X Yosemite experiencing these issues? I'm using the Early 2014 MacBook Air on which KSP usually runs fine. If you need any more information, just quote me, I just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this for now.
