Kerbal Space Program update 1.1 “Turbo Charged” is now available!
Elowiny commented on KasperVld's article in Developer Articles
Yay! 1.1! Finally, I can finally lauch massive vessels without the annoying lag! (Which pretty much made me stop playing KSP, I HATE lag!) -
Interesting idea! That would definitively add a new challenge to the game if you're bored and went everywhere already. Unfortunately, I'm not very good at planet making, so I am unable to really help (I wish I knew how to use PQS mods...). However, you can use planets from the Chani pack if you think they're interesting enough for this mod. Best of luck for this project!

Would it be possible for you to release this mod with every planet pack included? So if I want to have every pack I don't have to install them manually...
-
I noticed a little mistake : The description for Sido (The Sido planet pack star) says "OPM star" instead of "Urania star"... Can you fix it?

I think trying to redirect the portal could be a tad dangerous and risky. Make another portal, and throw the Cipher portal in it!- 79 replies

I really hope they keep this feature in the official release. It would give us something to do in EVA!

I was wondering what is the most played gamemode among the community. I personally play an "hacked career", it's career, with infinite funds, science and reputation. Basically, it's Sandbox with contracts (To give me challenges) and the science archive! So, in what gamemode do you mainly play, and which one do you hate?

Today, I sent a cool little Mun base to the mun ! (I forgot to remap my Steam screenshot key, sorry for the green text) Here's the inside of the cargo bay, with a little RCS-powered munar vehicle! My 20-kerbals tourist ship, the Touristos, with the lifter attached to it After separation Landed in the sea. Scatterer is just amazing. I launched a second Touristos to orbit the Mun I should really improve the way it lands... Also, I got a weird (And funny) glitch : I don't know why, but I have several tourists not belonging to any contract in my Kerbals, so they stay with the astronauts forever and I can bring them where I want!

What mods do you use to get these beautiful planets?
-
Are the oceans and atmosphere changed too or is it just a fancy colormap?
-
What parts mods are you gonna use?

Seems like a good idea! Definitively following it! Also, can I be a male scientist in the story?

If you couldn't tell already, I like kittens.

A little after my rover landing, I decided to be heroic and save a kerbal ! I had to retry a lot of times because I kept running out of RCS before grabbing it, thus making the vehicle impossible to control. Poor kerbal...he stayed in that tiny capsule for several days...

I landed my rover's brother on Duna! It was my first time using transfer windows (I used to escape Kerbin first, THEN transfert to Duna).

Nice rocket! What mods do you use?

I'm not very good at KSP. If I can make a SSTO, then I'm sure you can make your RTOS!
-
I'm sure you'll succeed eventually. All you got to do is try over and over, but you feel really happy once you manage to get into orbit.

Today, I wanted to tackle something I was very unfamiliar with : Planes. I decided to start working on "Project Elowin", an SSTO. I don't have any screenshots of the first version, but it didn't make it to space... The second version had to crashland due to an action group problem. One engine switched mode, the other did not. I almost managed to land it safely, but I activated the brakes too early and... At least the pilots survived. I used the same two pilots throughout the entire project. The third version had a little more fuel, and made it to space, but not enough to get into a stable orbit. I managed to land it correctly this time. After numerous attempts, I came up with the final version : The V7 I flew it up and up and up untit it got to space, then I tried to circularize and... I made it! I made an SSTO capable of reaching a stable orbit! I feel so proud right now... Landing was a little rough though, I had to use the parachutes to slow down. It's not a perfect SSTO since I had to use chutes, but I'm still very proud of myself. I don't really know if making an SSTO is hard, but since I was very bad with planes overall, it's an exploit for me.
