  1. Will this be making an appearance in the Adventures of Tex Kerman?
  2. Make sure it's actually scheduled for then! And congratulations!
  3. My perfect news site can never exist. I would rather have five sites to go to. Two that present facts and context based on conflicting (but but not extremes) views of what is important, and two that provide opinions and interpretations on the facts and context from different viewpoints. The last one is just an extended funnies page.
  4. It just adds to the suspense! Obviously, they can't fire through the mountain, so they have to wait until the missile has passed over it. And they won't be able to get a lock and firing solution for a few seconds after that. The tension is building!
  5. Actually, they have both. Additionally, you don't even have half of the potential relative velocity you could get. Finally, Kuzzter has used TAC-SD before. On the other hand, I'm still loving the experimentation here. Keep it up!
  6. I think that while the vehicle is Kuzzter's design, most of the credit for this idea should go to @Zhetaan.
  7. It should be. The Ghost has fired one cruise missile, and seems to have one or two left.
  8. With a semaphore avatar, I figured it would be something like that. Best of luck on your project! Any ideas what it will be? Also, @Endersmens, I think its time to update the list.
  9. @something, @Mad Rocket Scientist- What about the explosive force of plot? Will that help take things down? The equation is (WN + 3T)/ S Where W= Whack-a-Kerbal, N=Number of MMB clicks, T= Number of TAC-SD modules, and S= Suspense
  10. That's my new favorite word. It makes me seem smart.
  11. Great! Now fly them at each other, and see what happens! If you miss, I'm sure that TAC-SD will help.
  12. I do believe that was covered in General Order 35. Leonard can get a very good idea of where they are in that orbit by looking at the last recorded transmission from Micarooni. Because (as you've mentioned before) the speed of plot can be constrained by orbital mechanics, once he figures out the best launching orbit he can calculate how long it took to get there from Micarooni, and then the position on the optimal orbit, roughly speaking. Speaking of orbits, it was supposed to take the Intrepid about 180 minutes to get to Kenlie. It's been 150, almost exactly. Don't you think it might be time to go back to Laythe soon?
  13. I'm actually really impressed at how well you were able to reverse-engineer that device.
  14. got it, thanks What is a doggo?
  15. Who was Gabe? What is a "pupper?"

    Hello

Hello, @2204happy, and welcome aboard! I only lurked for a year or so. Your dedication is impressive!
  17. Inspired by reading The Great Santini, I tried to make an F-8 Crusader myself a bit ago. While yours is stable at 15G, mine was... not. When I tried to turn too hard, it would literally break apart midair, and stop all forward progress due to too much lifting surface. Also, the wings didn't move. So, I'm curious as to how you built yours. And how stable is it in yaw? It looks like you have a lot of lifting surfaces for the body.
  18. Looks to me like they have fairly hefty SAS modules for their size. Range safety, as @Zhetaan pointed out. You are wrong! There's a hidey one at the top facing the other way! Yes, I know you meant "not three named Sarge." But I couldn't resist. And if I read this correctly, there's a 2nd Looty driving that thing. Either that, or he's a gold miner with a weird sense of style.
  19. I like the idea, but it still seems too violent. Atmospheric Rendezvous Rockets?
  20. Does it have to be stock?
