  1. @Everyonejohn, too. @V7 Aerospace
  2. Can't see Gaarst's. razark's avatar is visible, but it's a white square. Confused me at first.
  3. On topic- do they take Amex?
  4. There was a thing a while back about that. It was supposed to be a large cubesat to Demios or Phobos. http://forums.mossat.org/
  5. Your avatar isn't showing up. I believe that the official person in charge of the forums is here, but oddly enough, they aren't showing up as Squad staff. They had a French Connection hat in their avatar, though.
  6. No, it's locked. Vanamonde locked it.
  7. Sorry, but it would only make things more complicated for us, and you. Can you imagine if some players posted based off of -79, and other off of -93? I can, because it's happened before, and it's no fun. It makes people upset. Thank you for understanding.
  8. Oy yoy yoy. You know that feeling where you make a mistake on a test, so you change your answer, and then after you submit the answer, you think the first one may have been right after all? Deddly, thank you for making that point, even if it may have gotten egg on my face. The GM team will get back here with a decision shortly. In the meantime, please refrain from posting until we make a decision. Thank you!
  9. The last valid number is Adsii1970's -92. Unless someone can find a valid revert point.
  10. Ignore my ruling, @adsii1970. I made a mistake. Reasoning: we have previously allowed users to edit their posts before the next user posts if they made a mistake in the sign, operation, or number. That ruling is still in force, and there is no reason to contradict an earlier ruling now.
  11. Fiery faces aside, I don't think this should be happening. They were in a sealed cargo bay, and got reentry effects?
  12. I have a test for you. Use an Atlas 411. Vertical liftoff. Wait 7 seconds, then pitch and yaw as needed to a launch azimuth of 89 degrees. (89 degrees from true north.) The SRB burns for 94 seconds, and is staged away at T+00:02:09. When the SRB is staged away, hold prograde. Limit maximum acceleration to no more than 5.000G. At T+00:04:03, BECO. Stage booster at T+00:04:09. RL-10 ignition at T+00:04:19. Fairing staging at T+00:04:27. Hit a 28.5o, 181x156km orbit. Is the simulation able to handle that?
  13. Which is one of the reasons why, IIRC, the Science and Spaceflight subforum is probably the most moderated in the Forums. As for the OP, fan threads aren't allowed. Neither is advertising, or lots of cursing. Necroing is frowned upon, but can be overlooked if the thread is still relevant. The first rule about roleplay is don't talk about roleplay. Those were the themes I noticed from December 31, 2015 to now.
  14. Possibly. But A. That's not the OS's job, and B. If you don't do any of those things, and care about your privacy, it's extremely irritating that you can't turn them off.
  15. Now try it with Jool, right, @Kuzzter? I think I know why I don't have a pronunciation for those places- I haven't been there yet! But don't worry, when I do, I'll give them names like the European explorers did- New Kerbin, New Moon, New Minmus, New Minmus II, New Minmus III, New Kerbin II. (Try and guess that each one is!)
  16. Probably because it's a bad OS. If they told you what's going on, it would make things worse.
  17. I think the egg is caviar. For a Red Herring. Which Clauselle will use to make a nice meal. Seriously, though. We don't have enough information to speculate on the egg. I think it's best to wait and see for a little bit. It's how the Scientific Method works, right? Observe. Then refine the hypothesis. Also, Occam's Razor.
  18. That's only the good books, the ones you can't put down. How many of those do you think you read each year? 5? 10? It's far more common to have a mediocre book, because that's how averages work. And which is more likely to happen- interrupting a book to check your phone, or interrupting your phone to read a book? Smartphones offer infinite knowledge, just like the Sirens.
  19. Very interesting article. Now we call them academics. But in all seriousness, books don't change every time you open the cover. It's not a variable ratio reward system when you read a book; you know what you're getting (roughly speaking). When you check your phone, you don't know what will happen. Will you have a an unread text? A FB notification? A KSP forums quote notification? Or, more likely, nothing? It's just like a slot machine, which I just learned is the most addicting gambling mechanism in the US.
  20. Nope. I think I may have put a little too much emphasis on some of that slurring, because I'm not from the Securities and Exchange Commission. There are two words I could use to give away where exactly I'm from, but I'm not gonna do that. And anyway, I still haven't remembered how to pronounce Laythe.
  21. No, we can't. The "birthdays today" feature is gone. But I'm off topic now.
  22. They do send birthday messages. I just liked giving people "presents."
