And I believe this is what the game should be after all, right?

Auto From Poland - BMK
Matuchkin replied to UnidentifiedObject's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Really nice looking car. This creation beats those of Vagani and any other car creator that I saw on this forum. It is in perfect scale, has mirrors, sun blocks, etc. This is seriously awesome. I want to see some stuff from you, allow me to make several reccomendations: - Volga Avtozavod-2101 Zhiguli - Uralvagonzavod 4320 - Uralvagonzavod ZIS-5 - Kharkiv Morozov MBDB T-34 - Kharkiv Morozov MBDB and Uralvagonzavod (OKB-520) T-55 These are some classic Soviet civilian and military vehicles, I want to see how you would handle these. The reason why I picked these is because I see you have the same fascination with such vehicles as I do. Also, can you download Hullcam and take some first-person or interior shots? I would love to see the interior of these cars. -
Note that if this seems like a ramble, that is because I was extremely rushed when writing this. If any errors or misunderstandings appear, please notify me.

Kerbal Space Program is essentially viewed as a "space program simulator", with semi-realistic physics, and sets of parts to build your own contraptions that perform the most complex tasks. However, I don't believe that the game shines in that aspect- after all, the parts are quite limited, and when you assemble a rocket it doesn't feel like a rocket per-se, more like a non-complex object: a fuel tank seems to be a simple cylinder that you put on an engine, an engine seems like a plain old nozzle that you snap onto a fuel tank, you don't have to straighten each part perfectly and inspect hundreds of components, the complexity of avionics is not conveyed properly in the game, a fuel tank seems like a single part that cannot snap, shear, wear away, etc, the list goes on... Of course, a lot of this is plainly unachievable in the game, but hey, that doesn't mean that the feeling of simplicity disappears. Nevertheless, this paragraph is not a request for change, just a thought on why KSP can be quite unappealing at times. The devs made an astounding job of compensating for the game's otherwise unfixable atmospheric flaws, and they really do deserve a standing ovation. Where do I think this game truly shines? It is a painting canvas: with a small base of stock parts in the beginning, anyone who knows how to mod and model can create a tidal wave of anything he frickin' wants. This is what this game is about now, and it is one of the next steps in gaming: this is a true sandbox, a game where you can use whatever you want to create anything you want- from boats to rockets to cars to tanks, ad infinitum. I believe that after all these years of improvements, changes, et al, this is the ultimate goal that the game achieved. It is this goal that we should strive towards, because in the end a game is about fun, not about whether it focuses on space or boats, not about mechjeb or manual control, and not about losing its original meaning. This game has made it so far because it was addicting, it was enjoyable and satisfying, and it is becoming even more so with every released version, simply because of the amount of opportunities that appear with every update.

You know what would be a cool idea for a dream? You go to sleep, and dream of being born again, living your whole life (including all your dreams) until the moment you go to sleep. To make it even more confusing, you also dream that very same dream over again. Then you wake up and have an absolute mammoth of an existential crisis. Also, this makes me think: at some point during your life, your dreams are longer than your actual life. Say, if you were born a day ago, and are now sleeping, your dream can take up a plot span of two days. That happened to me once: a dream with a multi-day plot. Of course, I wasn't a day old when that happened.

"Not one step back!" shouted Bill Nye, panserfaust at the ready, "We'll show these Chechens who the real Native Americans are!" Mao Zedong nodded, and triumphantly added "time to get shwifty!" as he manned the lasers.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/04/13/politics/afghanistan-isis-moab-bomb/ CNN got the news first: the largest non-nuclear bomb has been dropped yesterday in Afghanistan. Funny enough that whenever I see that thing, I think of P.E.W...

I don't really know about these ULA mars concepts anymore. Like, I was very excited for Copernicus, but now it just seems like another concept vehicle. This is absolutely no exception. The only company who I believe is actively and openly working on a Mars vehicle is SpaceX, but their idea will be rejected by many, many people.

I made a... trumpet-shaped spaceship.

Ultimate challenge- make a space ship shaped like a french horn. Or, you can make a sexy-shmexy spaceship in the shape of an alto-sax, and call it "The Blower", if you know what I mean. -

Moar Volcanism!
Matuchkin replied to Human Person's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I'd like Eve to have whole calderas, mountain chains filled with volcanoes, huge volcanic craters, etc. Pretty much, Eve should be a planet shaped by volcanic activity. And if we're talking about smoke, etc, I'd say just make it extremely smoggy, like, Jimmy Hendrix will be proud kind of smog. Purple haze everywhere. In case I'll need to clarify, I want to say that entering the planet should be reminiscent of the Huygens landing, descending into a seemingly endless fog. -
Edit active vessel in VAB

Not a good excuse. It would be kerbal to try to approach the ship with actual repair tools via docking. Fixing things with telepathy telekinesis is not kerbal, on the other hand. -
@akron. Is this compatible with Realism Overhaul? Because this is very fitting for that.

So is it just a bunch of thrust, combined with the fact that the fuselage is made out of wing pieces?
