  1. Wow! Just imagine the amount of heat and power that the booster puts off! Something like this would be awesome to experience in person!
  2. First off, please post more information as seen here. From what you have currently posted it seems to me that you may have installed EVE incorrectly, (putting files into the wrong place.... I've done that before too) thus meaning the core files for the game were overwritten. It could also be a incompatibility issue between mods, but since you have removed those mods, there should be no conflict. My best suggestion would be to uninstall and reinstall KSP, allowing you to require the overwritten core files. I hope this helps, it is always scary to boot up your game and see something totally unexpected.
  3. I would suggest that you open your regular career game, save it, close KSP, then go to the persistence file, edit it, and save. After you have completed that, I would suggest that you delete the ModuleManager.ConfigCache and ModuleManager.ConfigSHA files, then boot up KSP. If that does not work, and you are running Steam, I would verify the integrity of the game cache. Or if you are not running with Steam, to uninstall, and reinstall the game. It could have been a problem converting from 0.24.2 to 0.90 (although this is very unlikely). I hope this helps! I have personally never encountered this problem before.....
  4. I agree with this. Although, international non-governmental organizations like Greenpeace, UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), etc. exist (and are doing a fantastic job of spreading the word of the major impacts of climate change can have). I think that we need one country to step up to the plate, act as the catalyst of change, and the rest of the world will follow suit. There are many examples throughout history that pertain to this idea, take the Kyoto Protocol for example. It was a multilateral agreement, and when the United States of America stepped out Kyoto, it had a ripple effect across the whole agreement. Soon, the time will come when we need to do something, and I hope the reaction to that won't be too late. I also agree with this. This actually scares me, and shows how many political agendas do not involve concepts and ideas in order to remediate the problem which is climate change. This again promotes the need for a hegemonic organization to lead meetings in order to put the framework in place to stop climate change. I feel that if no country steps up this problem climate change will not be solved, and may potentially get worse.
  5. When I have an idea, I usually just go to the VAB/SPH and start building. Although when I am making an interplanetary craft, base, or anything that needs to be assembled in orbit, I usually build it as one big station in the VAB then break it into components to be launched up separately.
  6. I haven't used HyperEdit a lot, but it's one powerful tool... I suggest that when you use the land function, input a value that is slightly above the current terrain height, this should stop your rovers, etc. from being destroyed due to the fact that they are spawning under the surface. Be careful with HyperEdit! It could do some serious damage to your game with one wrong move!
  7. Wow! Just finished scrolling through. The site really shows the true scale of our solar system, it's big!
  8. I have three suggestions: If you are running the x64 bit version, don't. Stick to x32 bit. Remove your mods, and try booting up KSP again, it may be a mod conflict which is causing this issue. Re-install KSP (most likely this will solve your problem). I hope this helps! This type of Kraken is the worst, and it sucks that you have had to encounter this...
  9. Looks nice! I will have to try it out. Great work on the modelling and textures by the way! Edit: in agreement with ObsessedWithKSP, the Curseforge link is working...
  10. Looks really good! I like how you have included Liquid Fuel inside the cockpit, saves me from having to put tanks all over my planes. Great work!
  11. I have used many hours of my life playing both Portal and Portal 2. These games are superb, in both story writing as well as the numerous puzzles and mysteries throughout the game.
  12. Possibly, I guess we will not know for sure until Dawn arrives at Ceres on the 6th of March... I am really stumped, and super excited to finally find out what this white dot truly is.
  13. When you are sitting in your physics lecture and all you can think about is your professor looking very similar to Wernher von Kerman. Then, zoning-out and doodling a new spacecraft design on the side of your notes. I hope I didn't miss too much that day....
  14. I will do for sure, and happy exploring! And sorry I could not be of much help, I have only been to Tylo a few times and did not explore any further than a few kilometers from the landing site, hopefully you find what you are looking for.
  15. I am assuming that it should be on Tylo then, if it still exists. In the first image that you posted, in the upper right corner, it lists the latitude and longitude, maybe try and start your search there.... The only other current bodies in KSP that I think have large canyons would be both the Mun, and Dres, but nothing that looks quite like the canyons on Harvest did.
  16. Do you by chance know which planet/moon this photo was taken on? My best guess would be somewhere on Duna, Moho or Tylo (from the colour of the planet/moon).
  17. This makes more sense. I do have KOS installed (and I installed it the same time as MechJeb - which explains why I saw it), as well as other mods that use the KSP.Testing.UnitTest when installed. I am sure that there are many mods out there that use public class KineTechAnimationModuleLoader : KSP.Testing.UnitTest in their code, which explains why you are seeing it without B9 installed. You probably have one of its dependencies or the specific line of code which enables the "Run Unit Tests" in the main KSP game.
  18. I have had this same issue (without using ActiveTextureManagment) in regards to the revert causing a game crash. My only three suggestions would be to: Cut back on the number of mods that you have (especially ones that use a lot of RAM). Use a more aggressive version of ActiveTextureManagment (although you said that this caused another problem, which I do not have a solution to). Don't use the x64 bit version of KSP, stick to x32 bit. The problem seems to be in the RAM usage that occurs when one reverts back to another state of the game. Thus, causing for both higher CPU and RAM usages for a short period of time and in turn, causing your game to crash.
  19. I never knew that such a high altitude cloud could potentially be due to surface albedo. Very cool, and even more rewarding that it was amateur astronomers who discovered this amazing find.
  20. That may explain it. I have a few games that run Unity that also display the "Run Unit Tests" button. Although, it does not make sense that it would show up in KSP even though it was enabled on a completely different piece of software. Does Unity have cross-software settings that affect all of the games that run Unity? And if so, how can those settings be changed from game to game without input from the player?
  21. I remember those! I used to have one on my old laptop, but it never worked "as advertised." It is scary how lenient we are getting on security.
  22. I would suggest you install the packs manually. If you are using Steam, the auto installer may be getting tripped up in the file location and therefore not placing the files in the correct location.
  23. I love all these parts! I especially like utilizing them to create huge cargo planes to go retrieve spacecraft all over Kerbin! Great work.
  24. I have seen it since 0.24, although it seems to me that it has no purpose other than testing the integrity of individual units of code. To be honest I did install MechJeb with 0.24, so it could be related to that.
