It says it'll snow! I've got my eye on the window.
-
It snowed tonight. Going up to 14 degrees or so tomorrow but was only 5 today. It's supposed to reach 10 degrees much more commonly from now on. Spring!
-
It went up to twelve degrees yesterday. I could sit out in my backyard without a coat. Now it's minus eleven. Oh well

Cool!

TRAPPIST-1 now has seven planets. (Possible life?)

I'd name them after the planets in the Kerbol system. -
What do you think? Living on Jupiter and its Moons.
Findthepin1 replied to MatterBeam's topic in Science & Spaceflight
It says that Ganymede's gravity is over twice the gravity of the Moon, but the Moon's gravity is 1.622 m/s^2 and Ganymede's gravity is only 1.428 m/s^2, which is less than the Moon. -

Minecraft, all of a sudden, won't open. I tried to open the launcher and the launcher tried to update but I looked away for a second while it updated and when I looked back there was a crash message. I retried numerous times, then tried restarting the computer and it still didn't work. I made a backup of my Minecraft folder and launcher folder and reinstalled the game from minecraft.net. It still produces an error message. If anyone can help me with this, here is the error message: I don't really understand what the error message means. What do I do? EDIT: I have cleared off space on my computer and have slightly less than 10 gigs free; I'm going to try and update the OS. I'm running OS X 10.8.5 and this will jump straight to 10.12. I have doubts that this will work but I made backups of some of the important stuff so here I go. EDIT 2: I think it works now. -

So I was gone for a couple weeks and I got back to find someone had built, among other things, a road, right in front of my back door. I moved the road and things further away and filled the space between my house and the road with tall grass and large oak trees. I'm worried that someone will take the trees down or flood the grass away, or they could go into my house and take things. Should I be worried about that? Is there something I can do to prevent it, besides asking people not to steal and stuff? -

Is there a way to protect builds? Like claiming them? -
Maybe it's temporary. Maybe Laythe was hit by something in geologically recent times that warmed it up a lot and now it's just cooling back down to normal.

Did you know I can cut down trees just by looking at them? It's true, I saw it with my own eyes.

So my mother made soup the other day and it got cold and she put it in the microwave to warm it up and put oregano seeds in it and when it was out of the microwave the oregano seeds had all clumped into a hexagon in the centre by themselves. What causes this? -
It shouldn't be up to anybody on Earth to decide what Mars' flag is. That's for colonists to decide.
