  1. There's an open PR to update your mod's info, it's just pending a review. We were only made aware a day ago that FF was hosted on SpaceDock or it would have been done earlier.
  2. The .version file for the latest release (0.9.13) has KSP_version 1.0.5 set.
  3. The link to the sourcecode in the OP needs a fix, it's currently `http://www./download/85411817881jbzz/HullcamVDS0.50-src.zip`
  4. Per an edited IRC convo in #spacedock: [15:21] (@VITAS): needs to be uploaded again i think [15:22] (@VITAS): also the image is missing [15:22] (@VITAS): so my guess is: its in the db but doesnt exist as folder on the server ... [15:26] (@VITAS): you can forward my tips for resolving this ---- I won't be pursuing the issue further as this isn't my battle, but I hope the info I provided helps.
  5. Just want to give you a heads up that I'm not able to access the downloads either, and neither can the Jenkins that CKAN runs. I opened an issue with spacedock to see if they can look into the matter: https://github.com/KSP-SpaceDock/SpaceDock/issues/153
  6. I think this is a positive for CKAN and a positive for mod authors. I'd love to see this become a rule.
  7. @NathanKell altered us to this via IRC. I took a look at KerbalJointReinforcement-v3.1.5 and it has "ksp_version": "1.1.0" set. KerbalJointReinforcement-v3.1.4 is "ksp_version_min": "1.0.2" and "ksp_version_max": "1.0.5". As to KSP 0.25 the only version of KJR we index compatible with that is KerbalJointReinforcement-v2.4.4. Unless a user has an incorrect buildID.txt or readme.txt there's no reason they would be able to upgrade to KerbalJointReinforcement-v3.1.5 while using KSP 1.0.5. All that said I think any further discussion of this belongs in a CKAN github issue or the CKAN ksp forum thread as this isn't a KJR issue.
  8. No there's currently no working part manager. I personally use Felger's Autopruner for purpose. As I go through the parts I write them into a custom .prnl file so that I can run it every time there's a relevant update. No CKAN does not track changes to files. If you update a mod though, CKAN will delete all the content it installed before re-installing the new version. So if a mod comes with config files packed, an upgrade will revert them to the default. CKAN doesn't track files it doesn't install though, so if the configs are created post-install they won't be touched by CKAN (unfortunately this also means they won't be uninstalled if you remove the mod).
  9. To get "Launch KSP" to launch the 64-bit version, click "Settings" -> "KSP command-line" You will see "KSP.exe" (possibly some things written after .exe but they're irrelevant to this). Change "KSP.exe" to "KSP_x64.exe".
  10. In the spacedock listing the `abstract` has a typo which makes the mod sound like the plot of a weird sci-fi movie. " Four new science instruments party based on real world "
  11. Sure thing thanks for the heads up. For what it's worth Karbonite was added as a dependency based on the isntructions present in the spacedock description: "For compatibility with USI resources, you must install USI Life Support and mods that enable USI fuels(Karbonite)." Sorry for misunderstanding your meaning.
  12. Will you be re-uploading version 2 there? It seems what you've uploaded is version 1. (The v2 I'm comparing to is available from the KerbalStuff dump at http://i.52k.de/kspmods/storage/albertKermin_7866/KAS_Assembled_Areobraking_Shield/KAS_Assembled_Areobraking_Shield-2.zip).
  13. I expect this mod to be on CKAN within 24 hours. On that topic, @nazari1382 would you want any of the USI explicitly recommended or suggested to CKAN users installing your mod?
  14. @NathanKell I don't do the forums much, but now that I saw your message, here's https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/NetKAN/pull/3094
  15. When you have your github repo setup and a release pushed, pinging us (CKAN) at https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/NetKAN/pull/3066 would be greatly appreciated so we can index the mod. =)
  16. In regards to CKAN: Basically when authors host their mods on KerbalStuff they tick a box to have it hosted on CKAN. The tickbox basically pings us so that we know there's a mod to be added. Ultimately though the process can't be reliably automated so there's always a delay while a human being writes the mod into the CKAN database (typically a mod only needs to be added once and updates to the mod are automatically added by bots). In this case the mod was written into CKAN by @politas and reviewed and approved by myself. (There's a final step that bots perform before the mod is actually listed on CKAN, and that should be performed in 4 hours or less from the time of this post)
  17. LICENSE.md in the archive is for GPL-3.0
  18. AVG reportedly gave a false positive with the last release as well (https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN/issues/1461). For what it's worth you can submit the .exe to somewhere like VirusTotal and they'll give it a full scan with multiple suites. Results for this version of CKAN. Unrelated to CKAN but related to AVG, you might want to look into their new privacy policy. It was the talk of the tech town for a while. (PCWorld) (PCMag) (Engadget) (Wired UK) (SCMagazine)
  19. Just a heads up, if you want the .craft files to be installed when users install this mod via CKAN, they'll need to be in a folder named "SPH" or "VAB" (depending where you want launches from).
  20. I'm working towards adding this to CKAN but I need to know the specific license. The KerbalStuff page lists CC-BY-NC-SA but not which version (typically 2.0 or 4.0). Thanks.
  21. The versions are the same. Exactly the same. So if the one in this thread doesn't work, the re-upload won't work either. But you did ask, so: [removed link to defunct website]
  22. ABZB: I'm working towards integrating Mk2-KSPI Integration into CKAN, and while I can guess and probably be 90% right, I'd rather just flat out ask: Which mods does it (absolutely) depend on, which mods would you recommend having alongside it, and which mods conflict with it?
  23. Most mods are automatically updated. KIS isn't one of those cases so we rely on reports like yours when there are new versions. Thanks for the heads up and KIS 1.2.2 is now available on CKAN. =)
