  1. Latest versions of KIS and KAS. Guess I'll have to try a new clean KSP install
  2. tried installing KIS, KAS, WildBlueTools and Buffalo all manually and the problem with the Buffalo control cab and crew cab inventory slots still persists.
  3. The game starts to throw NullRef exceptions when I try to edit the inventory of the Buffalo Crew Cabin. Also both the command cab and the crew cabin seem to not differentiate between Seat 0's KIS slots and the part itself's general-storage KIS slots. Here you can see some screenshots of the problem that I managed to capture.
  4. When I've watched @TheReadPanda attempting to build a shuttle on his stream, one of his issues with the Cormorant parts, besides lacking adequate fuel-capacity, is that the monoprop-powered OMS engines only just BARELY give enough delta-V to perform routine shuttle maneuvers with, and that's when the payload-bay is completely empty, so expecting to have enough delta-V to even circularize your initial orbit with even a modest payload, is utterly out-of-the-question. I'll let him post in this thread if he wishes to, to elaborate on what would make this mod more usable, but for now I'll personally point out that I largely agree with his remarks on this mod, although while he doesn't find the Cormorant MMU to suit his needs, I will say it suits mine perfectly.
  5. Ahh, fair enough. You may not have seen my other post but I asked whether Bitesized Industries could please be made browsable in the "browse by manufacturer" editor tab?
  6. I found some bugs in the new FireSpitter biplane textures. You can see that there's a weird tan patch on the red and brown cockpit textures, and a weird set of faint grid lines on the red, brown and green cockpit textures. Also, all the cockpit textures are a bit lighter in shade than the rest of the fuselage's texture for the same color scheme.
  7. Small request: Can you please let users select Bitesized Industries from this mod in the "Filter by Manufacturer" mode in the craft-editor?
  8. Small request: Include a .cfg file in GAP that moves FireSpitter's new biplane parts early enough in the tech-tree to allow a player in career-mode to develop airplanes BEFORE putting their first kerbal into space?
  9. Watching @TheReadPanda trying to build a shuttle with this mod for his Kerbal International Space Station project on Squad's official KSPTV twitch. He is running into difficulties that would be much easier to overcome with a modular lifting-body segment. He also is of the opinion that the LFO tank-configuration for the lifting-body+engine-mount section is unrealistically small. I'm in agreement with him on that.
  10. Small tweak request: If you could change some of the numbers for the heat-shields it'd make things more feasible in KSP 1.1 name = ModuleAblator ablativeResource = Ablator lossExp = -7500 lossConst = 0.1 pyrolysisLossFactor = 6000 reentryConductivity = 0.01 ablationTempThresh = 500 Your lossConst is 1, and pyrolysis loss factor 600, which makes the heat-shield explode when re-entering Kerbin's atmosphere from a free-return trajectory around the Mün.
  11. If I may link to something that may serve as a stopgap whilst we wait for this mod to be updated?
  12. Apologies for the double-post, but I wanted to reiterate my suggestion of a shuttle tail-fin with a rudder that splits open to double as a speedbrake.
  13. A suggestion for a manufacturer name: Peregrine Aviation
  14. @sharpspoonful Fair 'nuff. @Sgt.Shutesie The new stock Mk3 engine-mount uses the setup I was suggesting and you can still put mirror parts on it just fine.
  15. here's an imgur album to show what I mean about a retractable docking port.
  16. If I may recommend a small tweak to the ShuttleBottomLong.cfg file, change the "stackSymmetry" number from 1 to 2, that way you can fit the space-shuttle main engines in 3x radial symmetry to the attachment nodes that are arranged in a triangle at the rear and have them show in the staging-icons as a unified group of three.
  17. so I guess I shouldn't bother holding my breath for the Cormorant airlock to gain a retractable docking-port?
  18. @Pak I also think that the airlock is a bit too heavy. In their "Stockalike Station Parts" mod, Nertea has a 2.5m airlock with retractable docking-port that is bulkier than your airlock, but which weighs less. I'll add pictures to this post in a moment or two once I launch KSP again.
  19. uh, is there a KSP 1.1.2 compatible release of CRP yet on GitHub? Trying to install some mods but they keep listing this one as a dependency.
  20. well, RoverDude hasn't gotten the 1.1.2 compatible version of CRP released yet on Github, so until that's done, everyone's hands are well-and-truly tied.
  21. Either way, I overheard @TheReadPanda wishing he could find this mod for the current version of KSP. He may want to keep an eye on this thread.
  22. I managed to install FTP through CKAN by manually tweaking the registry.json file in the CKAN directory in the KSP folder, adding in the version info for the latest patch for FTP and then installing it. It's a bit of a rigamarole but it DOES work.
