  1. Well, congratulations! And many many thanks for all the work you do on KSP mods
  2. It has been suggested before, but I want to repeat it here again in the hope that Squad listens: We need bigger landing legs to recover first stages. Please give us Falcon9-style landing legs. Thank you Daf
  3. I agree. I was a bit surprised by these news, as I read all the change-logs very carefully and I never noticed this change. Must have missed it.
  4. Undock multiple ports simultaneously by action groups. Furthermore, if you undock a port, it wont immediately redock AFAIK. You have to move away a few meters and wait a few seconds before they remagnetize, at least it was like that last time I checked. And if they changed that, the action group thing should still work.
  5. I believe the god rays are part of the Scatterer mod anyway, not EVE.
  6. Both good points. If the localization is the same as KSPedia (i.e. it loads the whole kit and kaboodle even if you dont use it) then yeah, please keep it. IMHO different language packs should be like mods, grab what you need from some kind of online inventory and install only what you need. But we dont know yet how they will go about this, right? Lets just hope they dont introduce even more needless files into the base game. And I agree on the Wiki thing too. Please just update and maintain the wiki, could have saved so much work on SQUADs side, and so much loading time on our end too.
  7. I wish the whole KSPedia thing would be optional. The asset bundles load far longer than anything else, and I never use them. I can see how beginners would appreciate KSPedia, so I am not suggesting to remove it. It is quite nicely done and all, it just should be optional.
  8. I can't help you with your request, but you might want to consider using the forums private messaging system before you post a personal e-mail address. On top of that, people usually use a hosting site for craft and mods, and all you'll have to get is a link. No e-mail required at all. Good luck Daf
  9. No offense, but that statement is not true, as Temeter has pointed out. The Disc is pretty flat. It does have some geography, i.e. mountains, but the Disc itself is flat.
  10. Thank you! Looking forward to a fixed runway
  11. Thank you! Now I remember seeing that, thanks for reminding me. I'll have a look at this and comment in the thread later on
  12. Is that doted line the SOI of Ike? How big is the SOI of Duna and Ike anyway? Cant you have a probe in a highly elliptical polar orbit around Duna that has the Ap beyond Ikes SOI? thank you
  13. yo @KerikBalm that looks awesome! Care to share this?? You should make a mod that replaces Duna with 1) your scaled down Mars, and 2) with the terraformed one. That would be so nice. Anyway, great work. Looks very nice.
  14. I'm with @Majorjim! on this one. Any form of clipping is okay, its a way of building, for as long as people dont abuse it too much for fuel. A little bit of clipping into fuel tanks is okay too IMO, as there is similar stuff IRL too. You can always dial the amount of fuel in the corresponding tanks down if you want, to simulate the lost fuel. But clipping structural, empty parts together is actually encouraged IMO, welding and cutting etc is perfectly normal IRL. Otherwise craft in KSP look all the same and generic. Clipping opens infinite possibilities for designs, and can make very nice craft.
  15. Thank you! And you are welcome. You know I always enjoy to fly your craft around and take them apart in the SPH etc, its a great inspiration and influenced my builds a lot. I want to point out the almost unbelievable amount of glide this craft has too! Thanks the Kraken for the thrust reversing in those engines, otherwise I could never land that glider. On another note, I managed to land it back on the strip first try, after flying along the coastline and around the mountains for what felt like forever. As for the visual mods, this is some version of Scatterer with some of the taxing goodies turned off and EVE with "stock" configs. Not visible on this pic is Planet Shine and Distant Object Enhancement. These four are usually my standard visual mods nowadays. Unfortunately SVE does not seem to work good on my system, I get some weird artifacts in the clouds and bad performance, but I found when I mix EVE and scatterer myself and disable what I dont want I get great performance and nice clouds too. Flying through the volumetric layer with bigger craft can get the timer to flicker yellow sometimes though.
  16. @Cupcake... The Vulture flies lovely! It has great roll authority, naturally, and the other axes of control are also surprisingly responsive. Amazing craft. I just used it to test and fine tune my new joystick, what a joy! The range at cruise altitude is unbelievable, but I enjoy it a lot down in the denser atmosphere too, where it is really surprisingly maneuverable. And it has the looks too! (as an added bonus, the super low part count was so easy on my laptop, even on my visual mod install it gave me constant green timer. Nice!)
  17. Cool! I see you did your homework! I meant to give you Europa as a starter and then follow up with Enceladus.
  18. I always thought Eeloo looks a lot like Europa, one of Jupiters moons. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europa_(moon) check the article and look at the "surface features" and especially the "Lineae" subarticle, you might find it interesting. cheers Daf
  19. Up until now I always wondered why people on here would think you are female
  20. I start to sound like a parrot in your threads, but what else can one say? Great looking craft and I will definitely try it in my next session. Thanks again for sharing. I'll report back in a few days.
  21. Very good looking craft indeed. I'll definitely give it a spin. Thanks for sharing.
  22. I'd say scattering from the air, or whatever gas is in their experimental setup.
  23. Interesting. Is there a way to remove KSPedia from the game then? I never use it anyway. Thanks, and sorry for derailing the thread.
