  1. Hmm, interesting. Good find! Thanks for sharing. and nice to hear you could fix your issue yourself.
  2. I had a good flight with the Storm yesternight. It handles great and flies for a very long time. Great craft!
  3. Sorry for the apparent temporary blindness, but I dont seem to be able to locate this sunset .dll again. Can anybody please post a link, oir maybe evne add it to the OP? Thanks in advance.
  4. Thanks for all that work. I'll definitely give it a try.
  5. Could you please include the build number in the OP or the title of this thread? Makes it easier to see if there has been an update. I apologize if its there and I missed it.
  6. There might be your problem. One of the first things I painfully learned about the new autostrut feature: use them sparingly on stations! They are prone to introduce all kinds of madness, especially when you dock stuff together. Use them wisely, maybe one or two on key parts. Too many of them might definitely lead to problems.
  7. I feel your pain for the missing settings, sucks when they do anything like that. Also I cant help you too much on what the settings exactly do, its still a lot of trial and error for me. And yeah, I definitely have to agree: spring settings cannot be changed in the field, but friction setting can??? Why Squad, why?
  8. now I see what you were talking about in that other threat. nice stuff, very scenic indeed. gotta look into those mods myself now.
  9. Might be an autostrut issue. Just a thought, but check for autostruts that re-strut themself after docking.
  10. That explains a lot, actually. Mods add a great deal of visual awesomeness, even if its only atmospheric stuff. Those canyons you speak of, they were definitely more pronounced in the old days. Nowadays the stock Duna is all just hills in comparison. And gone are the nice craters too. I think its sad. But then again Duna is not Mars, and it fits in with the other planets too. Even if I said its dull and boring, I meant compared to the old version really. Still one of my favorite places to hang out.
  11. Wow @Sharpy I envy your immersion. Thanks for the eye opener. Are we talking about a stock experience here??
  12. Be glad you never go to other planets. What they did to Duna (long before 1.0 though) is just sad. It once was such a nice place with actual geography, now its very dull and boring. And to think that it was once meant to resemble Mars... with the deepest canyons and biggest volcanoes in the whole solar system!
  13. Too bad. Man, I would if I could, but I have no idea about these kind of things. I am just a KSP player. Maybe somebody else will come forward???
  14. If you do anything on this, could you please try to get the Lander back into its usual proportions. I have to admit that squashed distorted Lander from the previous update looks kinda wrong.
  15. So far so good, 3.3.9 works for me. Local offset axes and all. Any other specific thing to look for?
  16. Jeb is my main Test pilot, but Val is the Commander of most big missions.
  17. No, never. I have seen people well over 30 getting into university and finish a PhD. You might have to get better literature and/or consult the internet a lot, but programming is definitely something you can tackle on your own nowadays. Good luck and keep it up! Never ever give up, man.
  18. Great post man. Sharpie, you have my attention now.
  19. Confirmed, in 3.3.8, but I see Linux is already ahead of the game again. I just reinstalled 3.3.7 to double check, and it works there (correct local offset axes on rotated parts)
  20. Okay, I see. Fair point. For me its not cheating, rather I feel the stock barrier is unnecessarily limiting. But to each their own. I see your point.
  21. I believe it is a setting somewhere, you can disable this little message as far as I remember.
  22. As far as I am concerned Linuxgurugamer could get rid of this feature... I dont see why I should ever want to disable NoOffsetLimits. @Majorjim! I could not test your issue yet, but will do when I get home after work tonight.
