  1. The game was supposed to be dead 4 years ago when Star Theory was kicked out of development. It wasn't. Since none of the official sources explicitly say it's gone (they even say otherwise), then it can be assumed that it's not. So instead of shouting at the screen desperately trying to convince people that it's dead, you could just move on, as there's nothing for you here anymore, right? Cuz it's dead or something.
  2. The situation could have been similar, though probably less hurtful on head count - that was while the game was in prealpha stages, so there was not much talk anyway, so nobody noticed anything out of normal schedule.
  3. Well they already said it. And anytime someone asks, they're just gonna copypaste the same thing. They're not gonna say anything more any time soon.
  4. It's corporate dealings, they never work fast. We may know something... in weeks, months. Probably two months in the future when the studio officially closes and the project is handed over to PD.
  5. According to Linkedin, he's still working. Not as part of Intercept, which will probably be closed, but as part of "KSP2 Team" at PD.
  6. Once the situation is cleared out.
  7. Friendly reminder what happens when a space agency tries to make a game
  8. Then it's not really a surprise. Why? Because as history proves, the employees responsible for community are the first to go. Sure there's a reduction. It's 60 days until closure, the people who will be gone can leave their work in best state possible for the remaining ones to pick up.
  9. Any source on those claims? Also, probably nobody is going to work for IG because the studio has been disbanded and whoever was working there, unless laid off due to staff reduction, would end up working specifically for PD. Oh and by the way, there's a place to discuss such things, here
  10. I think this is the most objective video you can find on the topic tl;dw there are few possible outcomes, including one, and considering what we know from official sources, that's the most plausible, that IG is indeed gone, some devs have been pulled under Private Division and the development continues in some form directly under the eye of PD.
  11. The train has slowed down significantly because of strong turbulences but I don't see it coming to a dead stop.
  12. That's what one gets after doing countless stupid public stunts over the years. People can be fans of SpaceX (and the skilled engineers in the company who actually made the F9 come back to Earth), don't have to be fans of one man who does nothing but throw ideas and give money for development.
  13. We know of one. Who worked for Private Division, not IG anyway and didn't seem to be directly responsible for the game. The rest is unknown. Yeah, it can't be worse than it is (and it isn't half as bad as some claim it to be) and it's not like I'm gonna be sitting on front of my screen, waiting. I'm gonna do other things in the meantime, live some life, watch movies, play other games while KSP2 is being prepared. Just like I did for the majority of the last 4 years. Life goes on, can't be too focused on waiting for one thing because I'll miss out on many others. I don't have to be ready for anything.
  14. Gee I wonder how well mtx, season passes and all that excrement help other games to survive... Oh... Oh dear.
  15. Being specifically PD, not IG means that the publisher has now more direct control over the production. While the "dev" team probably stayed the same or similar, there were some changes in management part of the team. Hopefully that is going to mean something for the benefit of the game. T2 has a financial report conference in two weeks, let's see what it shows.
  16. That jerk can't even run Twitter, he would turn KSP into a crumbling mess. Or actually cancel it if it didn't return an immediate profit.
  17. Nobody has ever had to purchase the game again after studio change.
  18. Lol2. There will be no sales after user backlash if they decide on that disastrous PR move. (The backlash is already happening after as much as a rumor).
  19. Sorry to be the one to pry but I'm tired of reporting one after another, can we get this absolute mess that is now the KSP2 forum sorted out?
  20. So probably not as IG, perhaps not in full strength, but they're working and it ain't cancelled. Lol toldya.
  21. Who they? Nowhere does it say "Intercept Games" or any of the employees names. Look on the bright side, the forum currently experiences the highest number of active users since a very long time
  22. This is the opposite of hype train. Doomsay all you want in related thread(s) cuz there are already 3 about the same thing lol.
  23. Sounds like normal thing for few dozens of games I follow. A patch is not a game release loudly announced half a year before it goes live (which imo is a stupid tactic, as a long history of terrible quality releases prove, when devs simply ran out of time to polish their product because the publisher demanded a very specific date long before they could tell if it's possible to achieve) For minor patches? Yep, that's never a surprise, there's no point for a marketing campaign for a set of bugfixes and minor QoL. For milestone updates, I almost hope you didn't forget the several weeks before FS!. And who would've guessed, the numbers went up.
