  1. Ah ah ah The reports kinda show what's happening, as some of the progress statuses change over time. Unfortunately, (and this is my fourth time saying this) they don't replace the "fixed" or other bugs that did not get a visual status change, with others below top20 user voted. Simple example, lil chonker science reward has been fixed not long after 0.2.1 was out. I don't need to see it close to the top every single time, I ALREADY KNOW IT'S FIXED. Remove it from the list, add something else in its place. A bug has been reproducible but no further progress (fix being implemented/being tested/whatever) was made since last report? Remove it, add something else.
  2. Which means we're in a void for a lot longer than a month. Last patch: January. Last KERB: March 11. Last colony sneakpeek: march 15. KERB schedule change with no ETA of the first one: march 22.
  3. This announcement thread started on 22nd. That date in 9 days will put the next one over a month after anything KERB related. So by what you're saying, it was a biweekly cycle (untrue because of patches that reset the timer) turned into a monthly cycle (that will probably also be untrue because of patches that will reset the timer) with a gap that takes longer than a month. I'm the one who doesn't care much about these particular updates since they bring nothing new, but goddamn it's been almost 4 months since the last patch.
  4. The biggest problem of the community is that they don't seem to accept that the devs have their own vision for the game. And everything that's released that isn't met with community expectations ends up being (very) loudly criticized. (And I don't mean bugs, I mean features that end at certain threshold of complexity) We're here to give feedback on what's already planned, suggest some changes, give ideas on what could be improved - not to order the devs to build a game against their vision. It's not a community made project. Good point bringing Mojang up as they're somewhat self aware. Because of power of vote. Community as a whole doesn't know what it wants, as there's as many different ideas as members. Hard to make a working, logical game based on this. One thing is sure, they're listening to feedback, maybe taking notes of sensible ideas that they didn't come up with on meetings. But none of that can clash with original idea that's been laid out for years. Goodnight. Where 0.2.2.
  5. Not a month since this very report update :') between now and the 22nd or something a patch may appear and the counter will be reset again, to a month after a patch. Just like it always was.
  6. Our resources Technically I could update. But keeping it updated for two years was one hell of a job, and now that it's in the archive, nobody would really notice. Guess now it's indeed better to pull off more thematical thread, as it's gonna be a while before next milestone is relevant. And it can be discussed and actively filled with news.
  7. It's been done before. Even though the news there ended appearing on February 24th 2023. The official status is: leave the official wiki as it is, keep adding to the fandom one, until the official for 2 is created (at unknown point in the future).

  10. Let's see where this goes. Are you going to be one of the people who will reinstall Skyrim for the 150th time with different mod set in the next decade, or like me, who purchased it a decade after trying it out for the first time, beat the main story and maybe a single side questline and dropped it, never to return, because it was mediocre at best. Yeah I still don't know what all the fuss was about.

  12. Oh this again. Alright let's beat the dead horse: AS EVERYONE CAN SEE, Tom realized how big this claim was, backed from it and called it an ultimate goal. A goal that hasn't been reached yet, just like the game that ain't finished. That's all that needs to be said about it and I refuse to answer to any replies, goodnight.
  13. People complained that clouds were crappy. Something that adds nothing to gameplay. But they hired blackrack anyway. And behold, the stream of pictures of craft flying through pretty clouds. Nothing added to gameplay, yet people are happy. Because people like pretty things.

  15. Don't care about kerbs as long as community votes remain the same - and over two months after a patch they're unlikely to change as we saw in the last three reports. The next one won't bring anything new whatsoever. If only they would swap the "no change" lines with others below top20 votes that did change (which I asked for twice already)... Just give me an approximate for 0.2.2, is it within a month, or in June?
  16. Another reason to wait. Those base modules can't be too light, even when they're inflatable. With that, I can get the mission done, and groundwork for a colony. Hell if there was a mission to Ike I'd probably attach a lander to that ship as well. 3in1.
  17. I'm waiting with those until colonies. I simply cannot be bothered with creating a ship capable of lifting 10 Kerbals off Eve (where I have never done that even with a tiniest probe) and landing it fully fueled and in one piece on the surface. No thanks. I'd rather send down there some colony pieces and build the ship on site. Yes but, like, not here maybe? This thread has derailed long ago.
  18. Because they needed "a" solution fairly quickly. Enough people had severe problems with single stack rockets so to ease with suffering and make the basicest part of the game playable they went for autostruts (which you can turn off by the way, in game settings if you want wobble back). That made people happy (ok, happier than before) so they could focus on other features, while keeping a long term solution in the backlog. If they went for a long term from the start, you'd still have wobbly rockets today and instead of nearly 7000 people playing FS on release day, you'd have 1500, and maybe 90 today, as only masochists would be playing.

  22. I personally don't even mind that the post is here, it's thematically fitting to current events and all, may spark some interest. The problem is, the in-game eclipses don't exactly work. See my very first post in this thread. It could work better as "here's how eclipses look like now and it's not much, but here's some work on how we're planning for them to look like". Hell they're not even rendering Kerbol as an object until you're below a certain altitude - way way WAY lower even than Moho. And I hope I don't need to remind just how big Kerbol is on Moho's sky. In KSP2 it's just a gigantic (low res) sunflare. You'll never see this happening, even at proper scale
