I finally have a better phone and my cardboard just arrived
After fiddling with KSP resolutions and trinus VR, I got it to work nicely. Good speed, no sickness
Issues:
- Console is hard to read, except the navball. It probably works better on bigger phones and better computers that can push better textures
- You can't look 360, it gets stuck after you turn your head about 90 degrees
But it works and I had fun
-
403
So I'll just put another image instead of that one
-
But, why? He already got a planet!
-
So it's semi-viable if someone were to put a bunch of mods and set up a two player game where one is doing the math and other is inside the cockpit with the joystick? Awesome!
-
But but but, what about VR in IVA? Could that work?
-
I'd probably crash

Zašto sam ja za ovo tek sad čuo?

Well... potential is here, obviously. I still live with android 2.3.3 so I can't be much help :/
-
Awesome, keep us posted
-
I don't play anything atm, but I can't wait to try the new Rimworld version!
-
It doesn't, but factorio is awesome until it starts eating your life away. KSP lasts a long time and can be grindy, but factorio is a bit too much of that
-
Just reminding myself that I got to oct. 2014. so I know where to continue reading tomorrow

But I know I can't be the only one here who's played the greatest game ever (shut up yes it is):
Star Control 2 is the greatest game in all existence! Yes, it's a bit grindy for today's kids, but so much space to explore, so many wonderful aliens with tons and tons and tons of fun fun fun dialogue, billion things to do and a very fun "spacewar on steroids" combat. The best part? It's open source now, just find yourself "Ur-Quan Masters" and don't forget to download the speech pack. Acting is surprisingly decent for such an old game

I love ALL her robots <3 have you seen her youtube channel?

I'm a bit late to the party with this, but it really interests me. My android is too old for this, so I can't try it. Whoever tries it...
a) does it really need 5 processors? I only have 4
b) how well does it work with ksp IVA?
c) can you turn it on and off at will so you can build in regular screen and fly with cardboard?
-
Yes, procedural generation fairs terribly for exploration games. It's great for building games like Rimworld, Minecraft, Dorf Fortress etc. But I'm still interested in NMS
Spore wasn't terrible. If there was no hype (and that terrible rootkit-like drm that limits the number of installs), it might even have been bearable. I'm surprised nobody ever made some "actually fun terraforming space game" mod for Spore.

Funerals
Death now costs extra money. You get tools and parts to assemble your own funeral. Combined with Persistant Corpses mod, you get the option of open or closed casket. Combined with Religion mod, you get different colored parts for different religions. Find a combination that doesn't upset the other pilots. Naturally, press F to pay respects.

Kerbal Atrophy Program
Kerbals now feel the effects of prolonged exposure to 0-G and slowly turn into boneless blobs incapable of moving on high-gravity bodies.
Already started laughing at the title
-
Mad Max mod:
If a kerbal is unhealthy due to a food/disease mod, you can use another kerbal as a blood bag.
You can tie a kerbal to the front of the craft. Gives new types of crew report.
Gain reputation for destroyed craft if explosion was witnessed by another Kerbal.
Adds overdrive options to most engines. Most of the overdrive options are dangerous.
Replaces white space suits with leather suits.
Adds that Tina Turner song to the soundtrack completely free (just $0,99 to remove).
Adds a V8 engine
Adds extra exhausts to all engines and a lot of other parts

AKA, RemoteTech.
*checks what that is*
I feel old

Realistic radio speed - It takes realistically long time for a far-away craft to accept your keystroke

I can't stop laughing. You might want to clean up some of the non 'kid-friendly' ones, though, or else the moderators will get mad.
I tried my best, but practically nothing in my ideas is friendly for anyone, so... eh, they can delete it if they must, I'm okay with that

I see a lot of you like this one, but you keep making it in the wrong size, so here's a better one:
And for all the really old gamers here

Ah yes, drifting is terrible (drifting is when your vr turns on it's own), but I can always fix that with the mouse
