Standing on my roof just waiting for almost ten minutes after liftoff and then seeing it light up for that re entry burn was one of the coolest things I have ever seen in my life. 35 miles away and some cloud cover didn't prevent it from being really bright and you could tell it was hauling some serious mail at the beginning of the re entry burn. Then that gap of suspense before the landing burn was so intense.

I saw this theatrical video of KSP on youtube and in the video right at 6:05 in, he is re entering and somehow gets a fly by camera angle of the capsule. I know the sounds in this video like the sonic boom are edited in, but I can't help but wonder how this camera angle was captured. Maybe a mod? Probably what I'm looking forward to in the next few years the most is that bad boy. And if NASA sells tickets to the new viewing tower that is 2.5 miles away, I will throw my money at them. I also can't wait for the falcon heavy next spring. Even the Falcon 9 is quite powerful compared to the Atlas V. I wish I wasn't so young and uninterested in rockets when the space shuttles flew.

Pretty awesome to hear a rocket from my house. Last time I heard one was the shuttle which has over 5 times the thrust of the atlas v. Wind was perfectly blowing from canaveral to my house. I am 35 direct miles west of canaveral so the strong wind really helped with hearing it. Visibility was pretty decent from my roof with some binoculars

Doesn't surprise me looking at the forecast. Might just not be the day for it. Hopefully things clear up.

I don't have either of those mods, but I did notice the module manager file in the download but I never copied it into any file in KSP. I just copied it into my gamedata folder and it now works! I had no idea the modulemanager file was needed, thanks for the help and mod!

I was going to buy the tickets for the saturn v center viewing (5 miles away) but thought traffic would suck really bad getting there and I was too busy today. However, now that it is tomorrow and if the go percentage is high I might do it. I live about 30-45 minutes away from cape canaveral and usually watch launches from my front yard, but I did go to see a falcon 9 launch last year at like 1 a.m. That was really cool. Set off car alarms from 10 miles away. I can't wait for the falcon heavy and the SLS!

For some reason the 5m fuel tanks flash orange and white in a glitchy way, I tried turning down texture quality and turning off anti aliasing and they still do it. I really want to use these parts so I hope there is a fix. Thanks.
