Minimum Thrust Limiter
Skylon replied to MiffedStarfish's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Good idea, but if they are doing anything with the thrust limiter, i'd like it to be the ability to type values in, rather than fiddling with a slider to get the value you want. Most engines in real life afaik have very little throttle ability, and rely on very accurate shutoff times to get into the correct orbit -
Also try to avoid double posting/posting more than once, especially on the new forum. It seems you have made four posts in a row already, asking questions which could be asked here. The same rules are on these threads. Just edit the post, maybe indicating that you have edited the post, like this: EDIT: Is everyone on vacation? Oh, and to answer your questions, No, don't post craft yet. There isn't a place to put them yet anyway, as the forum is in very early stages still Being an active member wouldn't really help, but making useful suggestions and contributions would. Giving you a reward (not sure what kind of reward you were thinking of, anyway) would be unfair. Edit: And put discussions here, not on the other forum for now, as most will only see it here

Life Looks for Life - (Prologue Continued)
Skylon replied to GehringGame's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Looking forward to the next one! -
How about we have two names, one nickname and one company name. Could be similar to the rank name. Nickname would come first though

Weekly Aircraft Development Competition

Including rockets? Might need to start imposing more range/deltav requirements -
Could also be that the fields are disabled

Incredible! @MiffedStarfish could use it for his naval YT series. I think there is some infernal robotics used, but it looks stock on the outside

SkyTech Communications Services SkySat-1A is a light communications satellite designed to bring internet and telecommunications services to the poorer regions of Kerbin. Raptor 1e would be perfect for our satellites, and we wish to have three launched to an orbit that covers the desert continent (west of the continent KSC is in) for at least half of the orbit, like a Molniya orbit. Or, if you prefer, an equatorial 500km orbit. I'd like the launch to be called SkySat 1-3, and I hope for future launches SkySat 4-6, SkySat 7-9 and so on. Tl;Dr: Launch 3 SkySat-1A satellites to an equatorial 500km orbit, or the more complex one if you prefer. I hope to launch more in future.

But, unless he it is hard it isn't interesting. You could use atomic rockets, they skip over far less problems than not using Kerbalism (I'm guessing TACLS ignores radiation, comfort etc.). A mars ship should be assembled in multiple launches, rather than a scaled up apollo. Look at lol proposed mars colony ships: they're big, with lots of space and separate landing/ascent systems. Kerbalism may look extremely hard at first, but when you understand the principles, it's just hard. You can always change the settings.

How many of these have you done now? Anyways, good luck! I would suggest Kerbalism instead of TACLS since it covers many more points of life support AFAIK
