  1. For months I've been wanting to build a massive spacestation and when I say massive I mean that in the full sense of the word Now that I've got the performence upgraded 1.6 I finally decided to start on this project. 1550 parts so far.
  2. Today I installed 1.6 because I really needed a better looking cockpit for my newest toy. Just in case I'll keep 1.3 but so far I really like 1.6.
  3. @SpaceplaneAddict About six months ago I said I was "going to colonise the crap out of Dres" it took me a bit longer than expected due to me getting a new job and forgetting about this challenge for a bit there ^^, but I'm finally done! I red some entries of other people that had awesome ideas to complete this challenge, I did not manage to think of something unique so instead I went for size of the mission and design of the crafts. The only mod used was VAB/SPH extender. In total 11 crafts. Clipped fueltanks have either Ox or Ox and Lf disabled. I'll post screenshots of 2 launches that show you the whole way there, for the other launches I'll post how it looks on the launchpad plus some random pics. I made more than 600 screenshots so if you need more proof that I flew eveything there just let me know.   5. Ofcourse it's been downloaded that many times, it's a cool craft what did you expect that people would ignore it? Keep it up! What I don't get is that people would want to download my Observatory Space station (115 times since May), it's useless!

  7. I'll admit being pretty proud of this one so I decided to share my SHIELD Helicarrier replica with you guys! It needs inf. fuel to work. Hovers very stable although it's better to put SAS to radial out. It flies but extremely slow, max speed is about 14m/s(VTOL 7m/s). I used stock parts but also TweakScale to reduce partcount. I tried not to use autostrut but during most landings one or two engines kept falling off so I secured those using autostrut. Some stats: 445 parts 1771t H: 35.9m W: 57.1m L: 140.6m It carries two small drones. Also a special thanks to BadBattery for making and letting me use his SHIELD Quinjet replica, my carrier really feels complete with it :-) The main deck is made out of 2x17 structural panels at 400% <- annoying limit. It's almost twice as big as my BETA version, I first thought that one was big...   9. Hmm this looks like a very cool challenge, never been to Dres so high time that I go there! So if it is not to late I would like to make this my very first challenge, going to colonize the crap out of Dres! Just to be clear does this needs to be done in career mode? I currently don't have a career save set up don't really feel like starting a new one.

  11. So I finally decided to create an account here to show you a few of the space stations I build this month. In most cases I only went for design instead of functionality, I already had plenty of "practical" space stations. All pure stock, the only mods I have are Vessel mover and EVE So here goes: Citadel: 804 parts (didn't build a lifter) Observatory: 245 parts (reusable lifter) Helix: 317 parts (reusable lifter) Orion: 262 parts (reusable lifter) As I was testing the lifter for the Orion station I figured it could look really good combined with the Citadel station, so just for fun I combined Citadel with 4x the Orion station, the result was a massive 1747 part city in space!
