  1. The numbers don't appear to be available but looking at numerous sources and best guesses it looks to be around 25%. That's quite a chunk especially for a small company. And especially when you consider it hasn't been available for as long on console. Certainly not a player base you should be brushing under the carpet.
  2. What? Grateful for crumbs from the table of the PC master race? Console sales provide a sizable financial input for the devs to create new content and any potential sequels.
  3. 23 skipper engines?? If you're delta v is over 3500m/s it should still make orbit even with a twr of 1.1. I often have rocket twr of 1.1 or 1.2 at launch, then the twr increases as you go up and the weight reduces on your craft. I think we need to see a picture because 23 skipper engines sounds ludicrous.
  4. Or three in keostationary orbit. 1000 satellites just sounds like heat death of the processor to me!
  5. Having 1000 satellites will not give you 1000 sets of data
  6. Thank you, I'll take a look when I get a minute and let you know.
  7. All the buildings should already be maxed out on sandbox mode
  8. I wouldn't put too much faith in the bug tracker. I reported a bug a couple of weeks ago and it hasn't even been looked at.
  9. Reported this bug six days ago but it hasn't been assigned. How long does it generally take to get picked up on bug tracker?
  10. This is a good idea, like a small area with different terrain like a simple obstacle course to test your rover on different surfaces
  11. I'm an xbox pleb, so I'll just have to stop being lazy
  12. Nice, thought you were going to lose it there on touchdown! I've been playing two years and have yet to build a shuttle.
  13. I think maybe why people are reacting so vehemently may just be down to this statement. I'm sure it isn't intended to sound the way it does. I think you do have a good system and it works for you. Everyone had a different approach to the game of course but it sounds like you've enjoyed planning and executing a good project. This isn't necessarily true early on in a career though. I've nearly bankrupt after a couple of mistakes. One mistake was accidentally firing Jeb and then having to spend nearly all my money to get him back. Later I accidentally staged too early and blew a mission, losing more money. Also the cost of unlocking parts makes careful mission planning important. Later on in career money becomes less of an issue of course.
  14. It just seems to be the way things are now though. Companies sell faulty products and it seems to be the norm that we just have to suck it up. Most game companies seem comfortable with releasing unfinished products with a policy of "sell it now, [maybe] fix it later". We've become accustomed to accepting games in their current state on the hope that one day they'll get round to fixing it. I've come to accept this as the norm (I also play Dayz!). As for the bug tracker, it's a complete joke. I reported a bug on there the other day and was told the bug was closed because 'he' didn't have an xbox to test it on.
  15. I definitely think Kerbals give the impression this is a childish game and puts some people off playing. Personally I would prefer the game without Kerbals and just have regular human astronauts.
  16. I reported this on the bug tracker but they closed it because the guy looking at it didn't have an xbox to test it??
  17. I always do the final few metres at 0.1m/s and just before contact I turn SAS off. Make sure your alignment is straight too
  18. On xbox, when I fill the deployable science containers with experiments, when the vehicle leaves the VAB the experiments disappear leaving just one item, usually the same one, in each container. This is happening since the last console update.
  19. Everytime I launch a vehicle with deployable science containers, they end up just having a control unit and two empty slots in each box. I'm on xbox
