  1. That's great to hear. If I'm traveling at 0.1c I really don't want to miss my destination.
  2. I love how this blog post once again refers to Nate Simpson's repeated attempts to indoctrinate his co-workers and family into Kerbal Space Program. KSP truly is a game worth sharing, and I believe these tutorials will go a long way towards making KSP 2 an approachable and entertaining game for future Kerbalnauts.
  3. I believe the most sensible option is to release KSP2 as version 1.0.0.
  4. General consensus yes, as I have not heard anything indicating otherwise.
  5. Seeing as the developers have already announced no changes to the stock Kerbolar system beyond graphical adjustments, it wouldn't make sense for any additional real-life analogues to show up in KSP 2. The only possibility I can see is perhaps loose interpretations of real-world star systems, perhaps the TRAPPIST-1 or Alpha Centauri systems.
  6. Haven't seen the invite link posted in this thread yet, so its fair game.
  7. The stock solar system is the one you're likely playing with including the iconic planets of Kerbin, Moho, Duna, Eve, Jool, Dres, Eeloo and their moons.
  8. PlanetShine is the mod itself. PlanetShine - Default Configuration is a small config file which specifies what color each planet reflects. Both are required if you're playing with the stock solar system.
  9. That shouldn't be the case. Verify that you're using version 0.2.6.3.
  10. Absolutely, that way mod authors such as yourself could opt-in to the new Joolian shaders on a planet-by-planet basis. Is this something you're considering for OPM?
  11. We can change that! Definitely when possible. For instance, the new swirling clouds of Jool are something that I would like to add as a general purpose feature of Kopernicus.
  12. I didn't expect it to be fixed, but its still on the list of bugs. Thanks for double checking, anyhow.
  13. Perhaps, although we've already been shown uranium as a non-generic resource in KSP.
  14. I disagree. Nate Simpson just confirmed that setting up efficient delivery routes depends on the performance of the craft involved. If I can build a much larger and heavier freighter because of the high thrust and efficiency of metallic hydrogen, then I'm all for that. I needn't worry about strengthening my craft to survive nuclear pulses, or plan around extremely long ion burn times. I simply strap the new "Wyvern" metallic hydrogen engine to my craft and begin burning.
  15. So theoretically we could set up a delivery route to regularly collect Helium-3 from Jool and deliver it to Kerbin to power our next-genereration interstellar craft.
  16. I'm most excited for the ISP of metallic hydrogen engines, a theoretical 1700s. With that extreme efficiency paired with the relative ease of equipping spacecraft with such engines, I can see myself building significantly simpler interplanetary craft.
  17. Ouch. That'll go on my buglist, then. Thanks for the logs.
  18. It could be a consistent problem as cache files are a little larger and would take a bit of time to upload, keeping the lock on the file for a short while. If the problem persists swap to an offline (non-synced) copy of KSP and see if that helps the issue.
  19. From a cursory glance it seems that the problem here lies with the fact that your KSP install is in OneDrive. Kopernicus was unable to access a file that was likely locked for syncing by OneDrive.
  20. Stability of 1.9.1 is priority. 1.10 is set to introduce new elements that require additional development time for Kopernicus.
