You can change your root part using one of the build modes, on the right to your build panel. Does that solve it?

probably you should add some elevons or any kind of pitch and roll controlling devices in the aerodynamic section. it would also help to look at the center of mass of the helicopter, that too the thrust and aerodynamic overlays.
